🌳 Wednesday, April 20, Thursday, April 21 and Friday, April 22 @ Volgenau Farm: We are seeking 15 volunteers (must be 18+ due to terrain) per shift from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. to plant around 400 native trees and shrubs at a property in Fauquier County.

🌳 Thursday, April 14 and Friday, April 15 @ Lane’s Farm: This is a BIG planting (725 native trees) in Culpeper County. We are seeking 50+ volunteers per shift from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m., plus 2 volunteers per shift for coordination and check-in, and photographers.

In 1963, Rt 231 was realigned over the #RapidanRiver. This April 1964 photo shows the new bridge that helped eliminate a cumbersome curve at Liberty Mills. Reconstructed in 1994, the bridge now carries about 1,400 vehicles daily between #MadisonCountyVa and #OrangeCountyVa. #FBF
