This officer has either not attended the first safety course or she didn't pay attention. She has her finger inside the trigger guard. She has her weapon aimed at the other officer🤦🏻‍♂️ Both are serious violations of basic firearms safety rules. Further, someone photographed these errors and then someone posted that photograph by way of advertisement of the agency.
.@metpoliceuk, this looks like a good way to blow your co-worker’s legs off. 1. Make sure your finger is on the trigger. 2. Make sure you are pointing the gun at someone.

“As a translator of works of Reformed scholasticism, I heartily recommend this new translation of Girolamo Zanchi’s Five Books on the Nature of God to readers. Those who read it will grow in the knowledge of God, which has as its end salvation in the triune God. The book is a fine piece of scholarship in Reformed scholasticism and a treasure trove of brilliant theology.” –Casey Carmichael @RScottClark @heidelcast @heidelbergrefo1 @Pjobanion @MerchRoyalPress buff.ly/E0lN9Ed

"But we proved to be gentle among you, as a nursing mother tenderly cares for her own children." Paul that's feminine! How can you describe your ministry that way!

#OTD October 21, 1555: Five days earlier, bishops Nicholas Ridley and Hugh Latimer had been burned at Oxford. Their deaths only strengthened Protestant resolve, and Queen Mary answered with a wider campaign of persecution. Before her reign ended, nearly 300 men, women, and children were burned for their faith, including Archbishop Thomas Cranmer the following March. John Foxe later recorded their stories in the Book of Martyrs.

The casual admission that Democrats plan to just throw people in jail for supporting Trump.
On the Bulwak podcast, Kara Swisher says Elon might already be in jail under Kamala Harris, and "he knows what's coming for him." Another one to put in the "what Democrats plan to do if they take power" file: "If Donald Trump loses the House and the Senate, I would worry. I'd be worried if I were him." "So they're going to start investigating again. You think he's not on the list? He's at the top of that list." "He has a very big sense of fate. And I think it's coming for him. And real hard." They're all just saying this stuff out loud now. There are no secrets about what they want to do.

Replying to @WilliamWolfe
@WilliamWolfe just avowed the same group whose podcast is hosted by a KKK sympathizer — the podcast on which William infamously appeared. Of note: Another Old Glory Club chapter has an @AmReformer and @Truth_Script writer listed on its filings.🧵 More: theguardian.com/us-news/2025…

What is being done to Elisabeth Elliott post-mortem is part of a larger trend/movement to revise the biographies of famous Christians to make them gay. It's been attempted with Jonathan and David (they weren't just friends), with Calvin, Theodore Beza, and Machen among others. I've responded to two of these cases. See the next post. Notice that Stell is described as a historian. This is an appeal to authority. This is one move. The fact that Stell is a historian means little. Historians get things wrong regularly. They make mistakes and sometimes they just misrepresent things. Another move is to string together otherwise innocent statements or events and to re-contextualize and sexualize them. Ambiguity is key to this type of revisionism. Statements that weren't originally understood to refer to latent homosexual desire are re-interpreted/re-framed to be sexual in nature. Anyone who objects is denounced as naive or a prude. In the current case the agenda seems rather obvious when Elliott's biographer asks why anyone should care that she allegedly had Lesbian inclinations or affairs? Why? Those of us who read or listened to Elliott know that she's being accused of gross sin and hypocrisy. Unlike her biographer, apparently, we know what God's Word says about male and female homosexuality and we agree with Scripture. These are effectively post-mortem charges that cannot be properly tried. This is tabloid stuff at best. A professionally run secular newspaper wouldn't run this sort of story. The evidence is less than thin. That CT ran this story at all says much more about them than it does about Elliott.

The LGBTQ+ culture needs affirmation. That's why the standard went from decriminalization to approval. This is a significant reason for the revisionist sexualized biographies of the deceased famous. Apparently Liberace, Freddie Mercury, and Oscar Wilde aren't enough. They need to recruit the dead to validate the movement: "All these people you thought were straight, were really gay." It's almost Gnostic. They have secret insights into history that the rest of us don't or can't have. We're not hip enough to see the clues that insiders to gay culture can see after the fact.
