It's interesting (and most likley accurate) that most people feel earlier generations were not more stressed than we are. Why do you think that is? #stress #findingserenity

Got another 3 Tefflin wraps thanks to @Rabbishish from South Africa.
Before heading to dinner tonight in New York City, my father told me if you get there a little early. “Maybe you’ll have a chance to wrap someone,” I arrived early, sat down near the elevators, and was on a phone call when a man walked out, stopped, did a double take, and asked, “Are you Yossi Farro?” When I said yes, he smiled and told me he was a fan of my work. Naturally, my next question was: “Did you wrap tefillin today?” He hadn’t. So right there in the lobby, we wrapped tefillin together. It was one of those special moments that reminds you how opportunities for mitzvot can appear when you least expect them. Afterward, Jacob told me I’d be making it onto the wall of fame at his mother’s house, which may have been the highlight of the evening. a simple reminder that Hashgacha Pratis, Divine Providenceis is always at work.

Jews are so crafty that we snuck into the Levant 4000 years ago and started leaving our artifacts in the place we’d claim as our homeland for no reason at all in the 20th century

And thanks to his vision of recording so much of himself (audio, video, and print), his vision, lessons and guidance will perpetually continue to educate, inspire and grow millions upon millions.

This is a time of national shame. The airing of vile Jew-hatred at Glastonbury and the BBC’s belated and mishandled response, brings confidence in our national broadcaster’s ability to treat antisemitism seriously to a new low. It should trouble all decent people that now, one need only couch their outright incitement to violence and hatred as edgy political commentary, for ordinary people to not only fail to see it for what it is, but also to cheer it, chant it and celebrate it. Toxic Jew-hatred is a threat to our entire society.

Today is Gimmel Tammuz. Not a day of nostalgia. Not a day to admire a legacy. It’s a day to recognise: The Rebbe is with us. His vision guides. His blessings unfold. His presence is real. #gimmeltammuz

Today marks thirty-one years since the Rebbe's passing, yet I feel his presence growing stronger with time, shaping my decisions, my mission, and the way I see the world.

It’s so weird being Iranian right now, scrolling through my feed and seeing all my fellow Iranians praying for freedom, and seeing every white leftist & terror sympathizer praying the oppressor wins… “for humanity.”

Iran's state TV showed this photo of burning Israel. Thank you for acknowledging that Judea and Samaria ("West Bank") are an integral part of Israel.

The Red Cross says medical facilities in Gaza are overwhelmed. Waiting for the Red Cross to update us on the condition of 59 hostages still held in Gaza. I’ve been waiting 529 days now…

Where was Haman 24 hours before he was hanged? Believing his delusion that he could wipe out the Jews and become the next world leader. #purim

🎗️ The Hostages Walk the Path of Our Prophets and Heroes. Daniel, exiled in Babylon, refused to eat the king’s food, choosing instead a diet of vegetables and water so that he would not defile himself (Daniel 1:8-16). Ester, hidden within the palace of Aḥashverosh, kept her Jewish identity in secret but never abandoned it. She counted the days to keep Shabbath, holding onto time when everything else was taken from her (T.B Meghilla 13a). ⛓️ And now, in the depths of captivity: Omer Shem Tov and his fellow captives recited Qiddush every Friday night for five months over a bottle of grape juice they received, sanctifying Shabbath even in the darkness. He longed to fast on Yom haKippurim but did not know the date. Only later did he realize he had missed it, when Israeli radio stations fell silent. Agam Berger refused to eat ḥameṣ during Pesaḥ, keeping the laws even when everything else was stripped away. She fasted on Yom haKippurim and again on the Fast of Ester, despite the brutal conditions of her captivity. When Hamas unexpectedly provided her and others with a siddur, she held onto it and prayed, drawing strength from its pages. Daniella Gilboa and her fellow captives feared being overheard when they prayed, so they rewrote "Shalom ʿAlekhem" in Arabic, whispering into the night. On Friday nights, they made Qiddush over water, sanctifying Shabbath even when no wine was to be found. Eliya Cohen recited the blessings for tephillin daily from memory, clinging to the miṣva even when it could not cling to him. On Shabbath, he too recited Qiddush over water, uplifting those around him. Some attempted to fast on Yom haKippurim, though their bodies were already starving. These are just the stories we know. More will come, I’m sure. How many acts of quiet defiance remain unheard? How many others, like the Jews before them, clung to Tora when everything else was taken from them? "Yet, even then, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them or spurn them so as to destroy them, annulling My covenant with them: for I, the Lord, am their God." – Leviticus 26:44 For thousands of years, they have tried to erase us, believing that exile or captivity could sever us from ourselves. And yet, we remain. These Jews, in their quiet, steadfast devotion, stand in the legacy of Daniel, of Ester, of the countless unnamed captives before them. Our captors believe they have torn us from our people, but they have only placed these Jews in the long chain of those who endured. Those who never let go. Those who, against all odds, returned. May the rest come home soon. And when they do, may we bear witness to the unbreakable soul of Israel.
Uri Danino, that I knew only a few hours before the party, arrived with great light and amazing energies. A few hours later, amidst the chaos, he appeared like an angel, without hesitation for a moment. Uri, because of you I am here. No words to thank you. May your memory be a blessing." - Omer Shem Tov, in his first Instagram post
