Three years ago we experienced a devastating house fire. The blaze was too ferocious to ascertain a cause but it was probably an electrical fault.
Please remember to check your smoke alarms regularly, plan your escape route and bin anything electrical that is not perfect.

For reasons I don't understand my mental health's really deteriorated in the last 2 wks or so-it's a struggle to work/move, my self esteem has fallen down the loo & not good thoughts/self hatred are v loud.
If my posts have ever made your day a little better &/or you've saved one/more of my photos (like buying a greetings card) maybe you could buy me the equivalent of a box of teabags over on my ko-fi. You can buy sets of high res versions of my photos. Not proud of tweeting this at all but I'd honestly appreciate every single £3 rn, tho absolutely no obligation obvs: ko-fi.com/emmamitchell

When you find all 7 scallop shells👆your brain will release dopamine, making you feel motivated and lifting your mood slightly. If you think your followers may enjoy a small visual puzzle designed to improve mental health while scrolling maybe RT it if you have a second.
More find-the-very-tiny-silver-owl photos are coming soon, I promise...

I had 3-4 weeks off Twitter with autistic burnout recently & my engagement is right down (also due to standing up to a vile group of trolls on here-they reported me lots, restricting my reach). If you see this photo it would be so ace if you could RT it or drop me a quick hello if you have a moment, both of which help an account get back on track. I also hope these little violas ping some floral dopamine in your meat computer & give you a small lift 🌿

Sometimes being a one woman creative business isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
Today has been one of those days where I haven’t sold anything in my online shop.
Have a look at my shop and please repost to spread the word. Thanks.

It's been a long and difficult term for many.
In these last few days at school, look after yourself and each other.
Pace yourself, if you're faltering.
Bite your tongue, if you need to.
Shut out the noise, if you can.
Look for joy every day.
Know that you make a difference.

Hello!
It doesn’t cost anything to retweet but it helps me spread the word about my small business.
My online shop is full of bold & colourful prints, homewares and cards.
I’m also available for freelance design work and art licensing.

I know I've asked this a few times recently but I've been very unwell for much of this year & am trying to get back on my feet again financially by teaching my workshops again alongside running my Etsy shop.
Please could you give my tweets above/below about my workshop a RT if you have a moment (or even join the class if you fancy learning about how collecting alters our brain wiring and thoughts for the better-I'd love to teach you).
Thankyou so much for your continued support and encouragement here x🌿

I just rang someone who created the nature reserve I’m walking in as I type to tell him that 2 endangered butterflies (the wall brown, this guy👇🏼) just had full-on flappy sexy times in front of me & so he’s made a home for beleaguered (but randy) lepidopterans. Small sexy very good news 👀✔️👉🏼👌🏼

For much of this year my depression has burgled all motivation, joy & even the creative parts of myself. I’m trying a new way of thinking-that I have inherent value even if I’m too unwell to earn/work much. I’ve made this photo to show I’m still here, even if I’m in tiny bits: old marbles, Roman beads, a tiny 17th C fox mount, 1930s toy flowers, a medieval casket key. Making this helped my brain, looking at the details might help yours…
