I have been heartened by the outpouring of concern shown by friends and family from around the world, in the last few days. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and kindness.
Solidarity to those being adversely affected by the current geopolitical situation. May peace prevail.
Oh, Ben. The news of your passing is particularly painful. You were a man who exuded wit, intelligence, charisma, humour and bonhomie. Conversations with you were always wide-ranging. So many will miss your infectious laugh and irresistible charm. Rest in peace, dear Ben. xx
Today, as we reflect on the historic milestone of the 80th anniversary of VE Day, we honour both the courage of those who stood against oppression, and the enduring legacy of a generation that chose freedom over fear.
In silence, in reflection, we remember. Honouring the courage and sacrifice of those who served for a better world.
Such sorrow, such grief, when one who embodied so many virtues departs. A shining exemplar of steadfast duty, dignity and devotion. May Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II rest in peace. The undiminished incandescence of her reign will continue to glow for future generations.
Known for her extraordinary sense of duty and unequalled devotion to her country and beyond, I am thinking of Her Majesty The Queen, and hoping she makes a full recovery soon.
Thank you to the Mayfair Times for their very kind invitation to the Brioni soirée on Burton street in Mayfair yesterday evening. A brand so exquisite that I needed to sneak off and explore further. x
Remembrance, respect and gratitude. Honouring those brave servicemen and women during World War Two. Happy VE Day on this 75th anniversary of the end of World War Two in Europe.
The fifth Community Awards of Mayfair & St James's at Grosvenor House hotel. Many congratulations to talented friend and Mayfair Times editor, Selma Day, and her wonderful team, for hosting such an enjoyable evening, where the community spirit was shown in all its glory.
My final personal PR and marketing client event of the year - for Gianvito Rossi in Mayfair - was a resounding success. A perfect way to end 2019, before the periscope is retracted, and the shutters come down on a year that has been - in more ways than one - rather extraordinary.
My penultimate PR event of 2019, in Chelsea. I'm delighted to have co-hosted a truly special, luxury fashion trunk show, at a rather special venue, for a very special public relations and marketing client...
The Ever After Garden in Grosvenor Square. Pick a rose, write a note, and use the opportunity to pause, remember and reflect. A beautiful idea for this time of year, when the pace quickens, and the need for a few quiet moments of reflection and rumination becomes more important.
Oh, the joys of having a captive audience! It was a pleasure to lend my voice to proceedings during London Fashion Week, including the Nina Naustdal showcase at Buddha-Bar in Knightsbridge. Many congratulations, Nina.
Much gratitude to the guests - including concierges from the Mandarin Oriental and the Mandeville hotel - who attended the Moncrieff Hotel Concierges' Convocation Evening at the Richard Orlinski Gallery in Mayfair last week.
Many congratulations to my dear friend and entrepreneur Alexander Amosu, for turning last year's inaugural African Polo into this year's unmissable feature of the summer social diary. Champagne and chukkas in the oh-so-wonderful setting of Ham Polo Club.
