YouTube just demonetized one of the biggest True Crime channels on the platform. EWU, "Explore With Us".
If they are doing this to one of the most prestigious channels on true crime, I cannot imagine what they can do to the rest.

20 years ago, I was just a kid filming gaming videos on a toaster phone, dreaming of being a YouTuber. I watched in awe as creators went viral.
Now, I do that every day across my brands. If you're reading this, dream big. Bigger than the sky. Manifest it, build it, live it.
I'm not here beause I don't spend my days influence-tweeting, rather I spend my time growing my brands.

He uploads shorts & his videos are seen by low CPM countries as well, so it makes sense that the CPM is not as high as other English speaking channels.

The hotel was $25k
That’s half the monthly payment for someone that makes 100k per month.
Better yet, even a first class flight to Dubai from London costs like $8000.
