Shelby of @ColorCasters and I are writing a business book from the work we actually do. I’m bringing 40+ years in color, print, and running companies. Not theory. The stuff that shows up when you’re trying to grow: customers, messy days, and keeping it simple. I post about that here. For the short version of who I am, start with @ColorCasters. Oh, and I cruise too much.

We frame differently in Florida.
I'm fuckin flabbergasted after what I just witnessed them doing... They're framing these $300,000+ homes with engineered 2x4s of all fuckin things. $300,000+ and you don't even get a solid board for framing. It's a bunch of small pieces mitered and glued together to make one.

I feel like you need some flowers in Brewers colors to cheer you up. Your alleged facts are all messed up, but hey you are one of those Dodgers fans who struggles with reality I guess.
I love how these narratives are created. Without the roof incident and a Mason Miller tipping his pitches they don’t even make it out of the wildcard round. But now they’re one of the best teams in 20 years??? Okay.

Okay, you can go on with your day knowing you are far smarter than me.
so you were wrong about the day time bullshit trick or treating

i didnt miss the parade..i give zero shits about parades...just pointing out that a night holiday probably had absolutely zero to do with the decision to put it on a friday afternoon vs a saturday afternoon

Just because she is amazing. She picked Brewers colors after I suggested we get them at Fresh Market.

Nope. Happily wearing my t-shirts from about 2008 and 2011. While I could be a fair weather fan. I’ve been one since 1970.
Fans who’s team has just won a championship have to be one of the softest retail targets in history. I am totally irrational about brewers gear atm.

Thanks to @basecamp for the iPhone app update that resolved a bunch of visual (not functional) issues for a guy who needs to adjust font size to work more effectively on a mobile device. Much appreciated!

I’m taking a Winter break for 2-3 weeks around the Christmas and New Years holidays. Not to relax and take it easy. To actually do at least a few of the things on my Ai to-do list. I half built a LLMS on my MacBook Air to play with before our move to Florida. I’m going to finish that and learn how the fuck it actually works. That’s what a real vacation from the daily grind looks like for me. Building something useful. This LLMS will help my team do our jobs more productively. I may also figure out how to connect @bot to Gmail and never answer anything but important emails again. I may figure out how to connect @bot to @basecamp to do the same. I’ve got shit to do to catch up. I’m behind, but it’s also sooooo early. My main motivation is actually making my knowledge and wisdom available to the next generation of color experts. I’ve got 8-10 more good years in me if I stay healthy and continue to love what I’m doing. But the last decade flew by and so will this one. LFG!

Signs I’ve made it: 1. I don’t have fuck you money (as I define it) and likely never will - don’t care. 2. After 36 years I believe my wife and I finally get along. 😂 PS - Bob’s answers are better.
Signs I’ve made it: 1) my net worth 2) I don’t care what my hair looks like in public

Boy sits in Mommy and Daddy’s basement and trolls retired professional baseball player. Some people just need to get more sunlight and get over the World Series not being about the Yankees and/or Dodgers this year. 🤷‍♂️😂

People who never touched a baseball field have a better career WAR than you and you think you deserve a spot in the parade? Holy fuck you’re either plain stupid or you actually think your “career” actually meant anything to them

Dude, I’m willing to bed half the metro area participated on one way or another. The festivities were spread over many areas of the city. We no longer live there, but it’s my entire Facebook feed. There are teams and fans outside of LA and NYC. 😂😂😂😂
First World Series in city history on a Friday the day before Halloween... and that's it? Least excited team and fanbase ever; don't ever tell me how bad small markets "want it" ever again.

Eddie Murphy. A long time ago in what feels like a different life, he sat down next to me wearing a conservative business suit at a bar called Maribel which used to be on Sunset Strip in Hollywood. I was there about every six weeks on business then and Caroline the bartender introduced me to “Eddie.” We had a couple drinks and talked about the world. He never once cracked a joke. I didn’t realize it was him until he left and Caroline said, so what did you think of Eddie. I was like, nice guy. She looked at me. Laughed and said you really didn’t realize it was Eddie Murphy, did you? I had not. Which explains how normal our conversation was. She even commented he never stayed for more than one drink. I’m truly glad I didn’t connect the dots and got to meet him as a normal guy. Because that’s how I remember him. I had some good times at that joint.
Who’s the most famous person you’ve ever spoken to? Not “seen from far away” — actually talked to, even for a minute. A quick hello, a handshake, a normal conversation… and you still remember it. Who was it?

The cushion for her front porch bench arrived while we were walking this evening. Happy wife, happy life.

Yes, Scott you are 100% wrong. Some of us are absolutely sick and tired of the punk/prank YouTube generation. We’ve had enough. Did he maybe over react after trying to be nice to the a$$hole? Perhaps. I suspect you’ve never worked your ass off as a route sales guy. Neither have I but I know many who have. It’s a hard job, but they do it to keep food on the table.
Am I alone in thinking it’s obscene this guy is getting worldwide acclaim & has had life-changing $ raised for this reaction? The prank is annoying. The frustration is fair. The reaction is totally disproportionate nearly having a mental breakdown over a kid trying a dumb prank. Neither party looks good in this. Am I wrong?

Time for a reminder that our teacher friends need help year round. @DietCoke_Esq has made it easy (I think she’s still on top of this project in her “spare time”.) to find a verified list. There are items for $2-3 that help a teacher run a better classroom. But you don’t need to to spend anything to help. Just like and/or share this post. noreensnook.com/

Even our “I voted” stickers are way cooler in Florida than back in Wisconsin. Also, first time ever voting in November in a t-shirt and shorts!

It doesn’t help that they pretty much suck this year so far. Smack needs to get his shit together.
I don’t the state of Wisconsin has cared less about a Packer game than the one happening later today.
