I figured I'd post a little bit of my Matrix Resurrections work here.
These were done under the production design of Hugh Bateup and Peter Walpole, and the direction of Lana Wachowski.
These are some designs from IO, including Niobe's keep and the Morpheus shrine.
Hope you enjoy!
Great question actually. I think the answer is that society is fvcked if it replaces enough workers.

My Cybertruck keeps tarnishing because of all the people spitting on it. Word got out around town and now I can't take it anywhere, people just keep running up to it and spitting. I use FSD, so once one person steps out in front, I can't move and a crowd forms, all spitting.

I don't get it. If AI remains as cheap as it is today, AI companies never turn a profit, they go under. If it becomes more efficient and even cheaper to run, they go under. If it becomes more expensive, they go under. What's the path forward? Aim for AGI, end up hitting bailout?
Amazon doesn't have enough available power to run all their GPUs, so they're sitting in warehouses and they don't have a clear path forward to installing them.
PC components and consumer electronic prices have skyrocketed because of this absolute nonsense.
Business Insider confirms it: Amazon has warehouses of GPUs that can’t be installed, and is buying them so far in advance that a supply chain team said they “didn’t have a clear forecasted path” to installing them.

Ditch Netflix, stream something good for once.
Netflix spent a record $4.8 billion on stock buybacks, then cut 1,000 jobs.
Profits jumped 37%, yet shares fell 7% in premarket trading.
Billions for shareholders. Job losses for workers. And Wall Street still isn't satisfied.

Money furnace. No amount of cash can fix the business model or the technology, but thanks to a bonkers machine God ideology, they'll burn it all if you let them.

You know it's bad when a platform as exploitative as Spotify is trying to curb AI music on the service.
Spotify's mission to curb the rise of AI-generated music has resulted in the removal of 50 million AI slop tracks from users’ recommendations.
The 50 million removed tracks follow the more than 75 million AI songs that Spotify pulled completely from the platform after they were flagged as spam. According to Spotify, the 50 million AI-generated tracks are still available but a user would have to actively seek them out to find them.

WILDWOOD is one of the greatest artistic and technical achievements in filmmaking.
There’s a battle sequence that is so violent, vivid, and masterfully executed that my jaw was on the floor.
It’s a real testament to the visceral feeling that only human-made art can create.
The mind of the AI filmmaker believes making ten sloppy joes as fast as possible will teach you how to make a beef wellington.
I think this is awesome, and teaching yourself Blender to make a film is obviously time well spent.
But I get stuck on “art is about the process, not the end product.”
Iterating is part of the process too.
There’s one kind of learning that happens when you spend 18 months mastering the craft required to make one film.
There’s another kind that happens when you make ten films in those same 18 months and discover what the tenth one knows that the first one didn’t.
I’m not sure one is inherently more artistic than the other.
