12 days ago Cysic faced a security incident that resulted in 10M CYS being minted without authorization through its bridge
team reacted quickly and blacklisted around 2.8M CYS in the attacker's wallet, but the remaining 7.2M tokens had already been sold
to offset this, team decided to burn the same amount of CYS, and the burn was completed yesterday(check the tx below)
no user funds were affected, and the bridge is back up and running
ofc, security incidents are never a good thing, but I think the team handled this one about as well as they could
