Roblox is accused of scraping 145.5GB of 3D models, including 62.6GB of adult content from Open3DLab and two related sites.
Open3DLab says the crawler downloaded files from 712 projects, 345 of which contained adult content.
The crawler allegedly:
• Scanned almost 19,000 projects
• Made more than 26,000 requests
• Ignored robots.txt and the sites’ rules
• Identified itself as being used for “3D foundation model research”
• Carried an email address belonging to a Roblox researcher
