I forgot to repost this when it came out, but if you wanted to see some of my drone footage from the finale then check out Max's video.

At long last, here is the Awdry Extravaganza 5 experience from the livestream team's side of things, going through every element of the event! Full 45 min video on YouTube.
We knew it was good - but did anyone realise just HOW good? Thanks everyone for supporting not just the Talyllyn, but the local community too. A railway is more than just the trains - it's the people it connects with along the way, quite literally.
News just in: £400k!🤯 Props to the whole @TalyllynRailway team, and THANK YOU to everybody who came to Wales for #AwdryExtravaganza5. The little railway where volunteer-led preservation began in 1951 still has worldwide appeal: #ThomasFansUnite🥰 railadvent.co.uk/2025/08/awd…
It's unnerving how many scam adverts are appearing on YouTube these days. "This secret technique to make millions" has been about a while but now it's things like "wonderful realistic puppy/panda toy" with clearly AI generated imagery.
Why is this upsetting people? She passed away and her family are no doubt trying to reduce the amount of things they have in their care. If anything, be glad there's an opportunity to own something here and that it didn't go in the bin.

I don't think was enough noise. Try again in five year's time.

Who let the dogs out? Stepney made a break for it at Sheffield Park this afternoon.
A huge congratulations to Max and Holly for their marriage on Sunday. Such a perfect couple and a wonderful day had celebrating.

Little Terrier outing for a big occasion.

I don't know why the @ tag didn't go in properly here. Funny glitch I seem to have uncovered. @t55stepney
Of course there had to be a train at the wedding... @t55stepney knows how to make an entrance.

I feel very lucky to now own a pair of offical Thomas Props :)
Massive thank you to @/RailInspector for selling me these to me!
The AwdryEx piano duet. (I must apologise for I forget their names, but they are both incredibly talented people.)
Fun fact: I later found out that @10LEIGH10 and I had been bidding against one another on Lady Hatt. I offered to sell it to him for 25k but he only offered a packet of crisps. A Cheese and onion one at that!

Cool cool!
I did notice the Lady Hatt figure and was like, wait a minute did Neil win that too?!
My Two AwdryEx traditions remain unbroken:
1) Fail to get my Wilbert model on the Farquhar layout,
2) a photo with Veronica Chambers.
Righto. As figures start being sent to those who have bought them...
Some have clocked it already, but yes - I did also win a set of slate wagons at auction which I went in with some others to get. These were on show over AwdryEx with THE Skarloey!
Here we are then, a week after the start of the end. Emotions still haven't processed fully but boy, wasn't that something special indeed? The drone caused a stir, but here's all the lovely people from above just after the photo.
As a fellow reclusive person with a perpetual fear of missing out, I feel incredibly included having been part of this particular weekend, with people I admire, respect and connect with on so many levels.
I think we owe thanks to all who were involved in whatever way, but not least to @Expl_Cookie and @DanielLongEAP who took the germs of an idea and grew it into something spectacular. The hours they have put in behind the scenes to bring it together, you would not believe.
