Male humor is implying that penetrative sex is degrading and whoever is at the receiving end is being βdefeatedβ. This is how rape culture is casually enforced through sports and then we wonder why male athletes get so much support from fans when they end up abusing women
My friend pointed out that there is a condescending way we view beauty-providers too. Every other business is allowed to scale, up their prices based on increased value and high-end clientele. Obviously, the people paying for these services are paying for the brand and clout too.
You could apply the same logic to anything, really. Why would Fola charge more to sing/1hr than someone with 20k total streams on Spotify for example? Surely heβs not the best singer in the world. Itβs the brand. Itβs his name. You just think beauty artists arenβt all that. Lol
