It would be so funny if some ex Tier 1 CS pro learned TS for like a week and instantly proved how doable this is with a little practice and FPS experience. Also goated clips as usual @siina5_
After giving it a lot of thought, I've decided to step away from @ThisIsTeamEXE.
When I joined, I came in with a vision for what I thought EXE could become. I wanted to grow the organization far beyond the aiming community and create something truly insane for players, content creators, management, creatives, and the community. Over time, I've realized that my vision and the direction that some members and management want to take are fundamentally different.
A lot of the core members wanted to preserve what EXE has always been: an exclusive, tight-knit group centered around top aimers and a family-like atmosphere (which I respect). My vision was to expand into different areas of gaming and build a much larger organization that could bring together top-tier talent across the industry. I wanted to create as many opportunities as possible for players, grow our content presence, and build something that could reach far beyond our existing community.
Trying to balance those two visions was difficult. I wanted to respect the history of EXE and the OG members who helped build it while also finding ways to expand the roster and consistently produce content for our audience. With gaming activity around our scene being relatively low, roster expansion proving difficult, and ongoing activity issues both within the team and across games in general, it became increasingly challenging to maintain the level of activity and content output I had envisioned without changing how the organization operated.
Another major lesson I've taken away from this experience is that having a vision and making plans isn't enough. You need people who genuinely share that vision, are motivated to contribute, and are willing to work together to make it happen. Despite the announcements, plans, and different initiatives I tried to introduce to motivate people and get things moving, I struggled to generate the level of engagement and participation needed to make meaningful progress.
I'll also take accountability for my own part in this. Over the last couple of months, I became increasingly inactive, partly due to IRL circumstances and partly because I lost motivation as things weren't progressing the way I'd hoped. I recognize that my own activity could have been better, and I'm not trying to place responsibility on others. At the same time, the challenges with overall team activity and engagement were present before I became involved in the community.
I think my strengths are better suited to building and owning content-focused teams and organizations. My experience and interests are much more aligned with content creation, social media marketing, networking, and building systems that can help creators and organizations grow. That's where I believe I can make the biggest impact, and it's where I want to focus my time and energy moving forward.
I also want to make it clear that there are no hard feelings. I respect @NexesPC, the vision he's had for EXE, and the direction the organization is moving toward. I genuinely believe that returning to what makes EXE special and focusing on the identity its core members want to preserve is a valid path forward. I don't want to disrupt what has already been built or force the organization into something it doesn't want to become.
Ultimately, I think it's better for both sides to move forward in directions that align with their respective goals. I'm grateful for the experience, the people I've met, and the time I've had with EXE, and I hope the team continues to grow and succeeds in what it sets out to accomplish.
Thank you to everyone who was part of the journey and continues to support the organization. I wish you all the best moving forward.
Disabled Screen Shake for better CS2 aim
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
In CS2, you cannot fully disable screen shake in matchmaking or Premier matches. The popular command to do so only works with sv_cheats enabled on local servers. Players can reduce some visual effects but camera movement from shots remains.
