A few friendly reminders as we head into GCSE results time:
1) Grades 1-3 are a pass
2) They are a level 1 GCSE
3) A U is a fail. Grades 1-3 are not.
For some students, grades 1-3 are a huge achievement. Do not denigrate their achievements by labelling them as failures.
📚✨ The Resilient Generation UK Book Tour has officially begun!
Yesterday’s first stop at Bethel Spiritual Care Centre in Reading was amazing — meeting wonderful young people and parents, followed by a beautiful boat ride along the Thames. 💙
📍 Next stop: LONDON
Rest in peace 🕊️
Jason Arday in 2023 he became the youngest Black professor in Cambridge’s history, dedicating his scholarship to race and inequality in education. He wanted Black academics in senior roles to become simply normal. That legacy stands. 🕊️

🎉 To everyone collecting their A Level results today!
Whatever the outcome, remember: your results are one chapter, not your whole story. Be proud of how far you’ve come, stay resilient and keep moving forward. 💙
Your grades do not define your future!
