@united we are on UA662 right now and your staff forced a mother and her autistic son off the plane. A passenger advocated for them to be able to stay on the plane. Did not swear, did not even get out of his seat. And now they are ordering him to be removed. Terrible.
Apparently the staff came to their senses and allowed the passenger to stay… only after he had to refuse to deboard and other passengers advocated for him. Still the staff should have figured out an accommodation for the mother and child.
Maybe @united you should do training and implement procedures on how to assist families with autistic children in accommodating their needs? You shouldn’t kick them off.

.@HarmeetKDhillon If this report is accurate, it’s horrific. Please have your team review whether federal civil rights or hate-crime laws apply.
The victim deserves justice, and the Sikh community deserves to know this is being taken seriously. Nobody should fear being attacked at a rest stop.
A Sikh trucker was followed into a Wyoming rest stop bathroom & stabbed 17 times in an unprovoked attack.
Days earlier, DHS posted "Get off our roads, you don't know how to drive Mr. Singh." It deleted the post, then told NPR any link to the attack is "RECKLESS and FALSE."
There has been a sharp rise in Anti-Sikh hate across the diaspora as racism and disinfo are amplified by both white nationalist and Hindu Nationalist ecosystems.

Today, we honor the TLC drivers and staff who took part in Operation Free Transportation–a program connecting over 1,000 taxi drivers with families and emergency workers to give thousands of free rides in the weeks after 9/11. youtu.be/7Umr23fff7Q?si=i275…

I had a classmate who lost his father in the same exact way. A very kind sikh man who was working late at the gas station he owned and was gunned down bc the murderer thought he was muslim.
his family moved back to India out of grief and because the father was the breadwinner
On September 15, 2001, Balbir Singh Sodhi was planting flowers outside his Arizona gas station when Frank Roque pulled up and fatally shot him. Roque wanted revenge for 9/11 and mistook Sodhi, a Sikh man, for a Muslim because of his turban.
Sodhi became the first person killed in a post-9/11 retaliatory hate crime, marking the beginning of a devastating wave of violence against Muslims, Sikhs, Arabs, South Asians, and other brown Americans.

Sikh Americans are an estimated 20% of the U.S. commercial truck-driving workforce, yet social media often singles out foreign-born drivers.
According to federal motor-carrier data, these heavily scrutinized categories were linked to only about 0.31% of roughly 5,000+ fatal large-truck crashes annually. They are 20% of the workforce, yet only 0.31% of accidents are caused by them. This is FMCSA U.S. government data. Don’t believe what Fox News tells you ,,, facts

In 2024, Trump claimed to have “a concept of a plan” to replace Obamacare and bring down health insurance costs.
No plan was ever enacted, but he still sabotaged Obamacare.
Now millions of Americans are paying thousands more on premiums every year.

He graduated from Rutgers in May.
It's the 20th anniversary of the team he carried and changed Rutgers football.
His pro team recognized him as a "legend of the game."
He has donated a countless number of volunteer hours to right a mistake he admitted to.
Isn't it time?

This story is crazy.
It would appear Trump admin officials rigged their nationally televised high school civics contest to keep a young man from a Sikh family out of the finalists.
