Teresa Wright and Hollywood’s Unusual Contract
Celebrating Teresa Wright, #BOTD 10/27/1918—one of the most breathtakingly honest actresses ever filmed. So talented that she earned Academy Award nominations for her first three films, winning for her second, Mrs. Miniver. She gave us such gems as The Little Foxes, The Best Years of Our Lives, Shadow of a Doubt, Mrs. Miniver, and The Pride of the Yankees, along with numerous other film, stage, and television roles.
A serious actress, Wright had a unique—and rather humorous—clause in her contract that forbade the studios from taking “cheesecake” photographs of her. It stipulated:
“She shall not be required to pose for photographs in a bathing suit unless she is in the water. Neither may she be photographed running on the beach with her hair flying in the wind. Nor may she pose in any of the following situations: In shorts, playing with a cocker spaniel; digging in a garden; whipping up a meal; attired in firecrackers and holding skyrockets for the Fourth of July; looking insinuatingly at a turkey for Thanksgiving; wearing a bunny cap with long ears for Easter; twinkling on prop snow in a skiing outfit while a fan blows her scarf; assuming an athletic stance while pretending to hit something with a bow and arrow.”
And while she was actress of uncommon grace, dignity, and quiet brilliance, she did pose for Hurrell in this rather glamorous portrait......

The Pnyx Cyclopean Wall of Athens 🤯
This massive megalithic wall is comprised of HUGE polygonal stones, some weighing 40TONS! It is one of the most impressive feats of ancient engineering in Greece, yet relatively few are even aware of its existence. In fact, I visited this wall twice while in country, and literally NOBODY else was there either time.
For perspective, the largest stones used to create the Parthenon are only 5Tons. This incredible wall stands apart from the most notable sites in Athens that receive all the attention.
Pictures do not do this behemoth justice. Notice how large they are compared to me (I’m 5’10). This wall gave me Baalbek vibes…

Nicki stood on that stage, backed Trump, and said the quiet part out loud about leaving kids alone. The same people who stayed silent when her house got swatted with her baby inside are now big mad she won’t support their woke narrative.
She stands with America and President Trump. That’s the real problem for them.

How do I know Allah is Satan.
The Bible says Satan is a liar, a murderer from the beginning, and the master deceiver of the world.
John 8:44, Revelation 12:9, 2 Cortinthians 11:14
Allah promotes Jihad the murder and torture of non Muslims.
Islam is everything contrary to the teachings of Jesus.
