Serious question: what does "work" even look like in 5 years?
When your AI agent handles research, scheduling, reporting, and first drafts...
What exactly is left for humans to do?
I think the answer is taste, relationships, and decisions under uncertainty.
The skills that never scaled are about to become the only ones that matter.
Half of Americans would rather build LEGO than talk to a therapist... 49% would pick it over going out for drinks.
Kidulting is real and I'm here for it 🪁

On a scale of 1 to 10... how YOLO are you with your AI agents?
I'm a solid 9 😅

Onboarded a new hire at a client this morning... the rest of the team has been deep in AI with us for 6 months.
The gap is WILD. Six months feels like six years right now 😳

The funniest thing about Miami is how people who don't live here think we're all obsessed with partying.
I got back into town Sunday, and the first thing I did was go see my cousin's baby and my niece.
Some of us would rather spend our time with family than at a club. And yes, we still love living in Miami.
This is cool… Love seeing this in South Florida!
Our Fort Lauderdale Robotics Meetup is shaping up to be one hell of a night!
Pumped to announce two awesome speakers joining us:
Alexander Petersen (@AlexPetersen91), CEO of Moby Robotics, building robots for ocean applications, from underwater mapping to surface mining.
Humanoid Scott (@GoingBallistic5) from @RoboStrategy, bringing his perspective from the front lines of humanoid robotics.
These guys are the real deal. Can't wait to get them in a room full of founders, engineers, investors, and builders.
We're at capacity, but JOIN THE WAITLIST! I'll be moving more people onto the guest list as we get closer.

I love educators that lean into emerging tech instead of banning it or pushing it away. Kudos 👏👏👏
Another industry first — we are the first university professors to develop and release an MCP specifically for their course. We launched it at the beginning of the semester and the usage has been beyond any of our expectations.
It can do anything and answer anything related to the course, the material, the syllabus, and, it's even programmed to not do the homework for you! But it will help you.
The MCP is trained on our nearly half-decade of course content, including every slide from every class to every word from every lecture ... across every school year.
Bonus: our new nicknames on campus are "The Model Context Professors" (MCP) 🤣

Love this take... Why hire an intern when you can hire the smartest, most connected person in the world?!?! The busywork is good. The world-altering work is better!
Lots of people are using AI to do quick, easy things: sort email, book flights, write posts
The smartest people are using it to do hard, slow things: build companies, find opportunities, solve problems
If you could have the smartest person ever work for your company... would you hire them as the intern?
In France, you are seeing protests and riots.
In Madrid, crowds banged pots outside City Hall over rents.
In New York, new leases in Astoria now run $3,100 a month.
People are furious about what it costs to live.
They have a point. But are they blaming the right people?
Since 2000, TV prices fell 97%. Hospital prices rose 220%.
Where builders compete, innovation drives prices down. Flat-screens, smartphones, laptops, cloud software: each one made life better and cheaper.
Where the state subsidizes demand and blocks supply, prices burn. Rent, tuition, healthcare.
The market didn’t fail there. It was just never allowed in.
The fix is unblocking innovation, so everyone benefits.
What do you think the real reason for high prices is?
"Cities are judged in centuries"
@saif305 says Miami isn't the America of 1976. It's the America of 2076.
A $2B Carnegie Mellon campus in Wynwood. $4.13B raised by South Florida startups last year. The hemisphere's trade already runs through here. And so, so much more going for this city!
Bet against Miami if you like... Just know you're betting against America. 🌴

these results are really interesting! i can see two sides forming: one that sees agents as an extension of their own mind - like a cyborg, and the other that sees a future version of them as independent artificial beings, capable of making their own decisions and working alongside us.
with that framing, i can see why ~70% of people said no: they imagine a future where you have brain computer interfaces that remove the need to type words into an input box. there may come a time where it no longer feels like you're chatting with another entity, agents augment you in a way that feels like an intuitive system 1 extension of your body, removing the barrier between thought and action.
i can see the argument for why chat might be final too: just think about how we collaborate with our colleagues, friends, and family: we just talk to them. you don't need anything else. i think voice chat and text chat are actually the same thing in this sense. in this category you see an agent as more of an "other", it's own entity, rather than a part of you.
which side are you on? or are you somewhere in the middle?
