I’m always on the lookout for new quotes about my playing, and once again YouTube has delivered: “xylophone player has got somewhere he needs to be. Playing double speed here. Slow down my man!”

I can't believe what @CeciliaBignall has to go through when flying with her cello. The actual journey is stressful enough, but I've been witness to some AWFUL customer service recently, specifically from @British_Airways and @TurkishAirlines. cc. @WeAreTheMU 1/6

Even now when she calls, they say there's nothing they can do, they have to wait for the people in the back office. No way to talk to them directly. Of course we could submit a complaint via the online form - and they promise to get back to us within 30 days... 6/6

A fun addition to the tale: Ryanair don't even allow you to fly with a cello anymore, because their seats are too narrow 🤡

England aren't playing badly. This game is simply the result of global factors, not least the effects of the pandemic and Putin's illegal war in Ukraine.

I know far more houseplants killed by amateur and expert gardeners grown in peat than have been kept alive - if you’ve killed a houseplant (who hasn’t) please retweet 😂

I’ve written to my MP, @NadineDorries, to ask how this contributes to constructive debate, and whether she believes she has upheld the Parliament Behaviour Code: • Act professionally towards others • Ensure Parliament meets the highest ethical standards of mutual respect

Nadine Dorries is repeatedly shouting “you’re boring” at Keir Starmer
Today is the hottest day *ever* in the UK Our Govt's climate record is mired in failure - from a failed, illegal net zero strategy to greenlighting new gas fields We need a #GreenNewDeal - the Tory leadership candidates must commit to backing our Bill @labourlewis @GNDRising
