Because the whole fanbase called him that 🙄

Calling him Non-league Nigel might be why you didn’t get that passion back 🙄

Nigh on zero budget and silently built an absolutely unbelievable squad. Never afraid to play the kids either. Deserves much more credit than he ever received. Always wondered what kind of a job he’d do with funds available.

Can't recall Nigel ever showing passion like that at Derby, maybe at Leeds away and that was it Proper football man though, had a great career in management

Regardless of the injuries, Eustace still has to get more out of his team. No pattern to our play all season, he has taken us as far as he can. Baffling post match interview

Last time Derby went 7 without a win, it cost Paul Warne his job. Now that was 7 straight defeats (as opposed to 5 defeats and 2 draws) and a lot of other contextual factors - but Clowes, Pearce, Eustace and the players will all be aware of the responsibility and accountability required. They'll all know, regardless of circumstances, this isn't good enough. #dcfcfans

Joe Ward's decision making is absolutley baffling, at least last season he was an attacking threat. Something seriously needs to change

Say what you like about injuries, performances over 10 games have been so poor. We already have a mountain to climb and listening to Eustace's interviews recently don't exactly inspire any confidence things will get better

7 YEARS AGO TODAY! 📆 Derby edged a 5 goal thriller against Birmingham 3-2 to claim their first home win of the Championship season! 🐏 Derby led 2-0 Birmingham scored TWICE in 3 mins to level it, only for Jamie Paterson to grab a 74th-minute winner! #DCFC #BCFC

Didn't read many online articles from Derby Telegraph anyway with that awful website, not sure many will be signing up to pay for the privilege!

Brewster's cameo was brilliant, really hope he can stay fit. All he knows is direct and attacking play, makes a refreshing change.

I think he’s got to go. I’m convinced we’ve got the players, but how we’re still playing a system (is there a system? Who knows) where there is seemingly nobody in the middle third at any point is mental. Just relying on teams to be worse than us #dcfc

6th game of the season and still no idea of how Eustace wants his side to play? Definitley not playing to strengths, the Football is Warne 2.0 whipping in crosses hoping for the best, so hard and frustrating to watch.

Anyone else feel this seasons start has parallels to 2013-14 when Nigel Clough was sacked and replaced by McClaren? Not saying Eustace should be sacked, still has a lot of credit in the bank. However, work to be done for sure and squad needs to gel

Just wondering, what’s the point of Cruz Allen going on loan to sit on the bench for a month? #dcfc #dcfcfans
