- resilient to climate change. It's encouraging to hear the strong alignment between the priorities I heard from local leaders and the work our government is advancing. The challenges are significant, but so is our collective commitment to tackling them.

By working together, we can strengthen watershed security, build more resilient communities, and ensure British Columbians have the water resources they depend on for generations to come.

Ian, this is false - the Salmon River temporary protection order was rescinded on Saturday. Please check with my office on this kind of information - as you know it's important not to spread misinformation during an emergency like this one.

This morning I wrote to 17 Pride groups to say we’ll proceed with their request for a motion to support the Human Rights Code. Every MLA who supports the Code should vote to defend it. We need to stand up for human rights, not give ground to those who would take them away.

Building on B.C.'s leadership in removing interprovincial trade barriers, I just introduced the Trade Recognition Act. If passed, goods and services legally sold in any Canadian province could also be sold in British Columbia, no duplicate testing or certifications required. 1/2
