Don't be fooled by Luxons dishonesty using moral panic over gang contacts to distract from more important issues like cost of living, health & housing to take attention away from Nationals failed record in office smacks of desperate dirty politics hypocrisy and double standards

When Luxon was asked if National would engage with gangs he said
“No, no, no, no, no, absolutely no,”
Luxon said zero engagement so let’s not try to say now the criticism was only about alleged campaigning…it wasn’t.
He then said of Labour “that they actually think that even their candidates think it's okay to hang out with gang members and pal around with them”
Just spending time with gangs was last weeks evil according to Luxon, don’t shift the goal posts now, just be honest and consistent.
If last weeks politician shouldn’t even “hang out” or “pal around with” gang members, then all we’re saying is the same should apply today.
