A day of hard knocks. Bad news for those around me left right and centre. It’s hard to watch and absorb. Their lives are imploding and I really can’t help them but want nothing more than for them to help themselves or have the grit to make it through okay. I can’t save them.

Empathy without boundaries is self-destruction. Unconditional love doesn't mean unconditional tolerance. You gotta train your boundaries to be stronger than your soft heart and your mind to be stronger than your feelings. Otherwise, you'll be drained. So be kind and take no sh*t.

Learning to have empathy for other people who are disappointed and having problems but to not take them on as my own or need to solve them for them (esp at my own expense). Growth!

Some people will project their lack onto you as your weakness. People who lack communication skills will say you're arguing. People who lack the emotional intelligence to understand you will call you sensitive. Stop owning their lack and thinking there's something wrong with you.

Take your parent off the pedestal. Look at their relationships, the way they speak about themselves, & their beliefs. They’re human. Unsure of how to do life. Like all of us. Leaving the childhood illusion that they’re all knowing gods is the first step in healing.

Emotional rock bottom has lessons. Breaking down hurts, and it's also the beginning of rebuilding. Take a deep breath and remember who you are.

dating someone who naturally vibes with your childlike playfulness, makes you laugh, and loves you a little extra on the days you don't feel so loveable >>>

How everything in life feels now.
Hi, today I virtually WAITED IN LINE to be able to receive an EMAIL and the email means I *MIGHT* get a chance to PURCHASE TICKETS to go to a concert in 1.5 years that I went to 3 months ago.

Yeah but the labs can’t process them in time up one level. So how does this help? Gee almost as if the super lab would have been helpful?!

Everyone is always shocked that I leave our newborn with my husband while I go out and do things. “You trust him?!” “I would never!” “I’d come home to a mess or an injured child.” Y’all stop having babies with men you can’t trust with them. Literally no concerns here.

Honestly guys, sometimes family is so unbearable - how do you even learn to live with it? :/

No way, it’s where you go to get assaulted and accosted.

People don't know who they are. We're conditioned to disconnect from ourselves to achieve and perform at a young age. A mental health crisis is the natural result.
