Once again, prove me wrong. I’m convinced it was all connected at this point.

The erasure of romance and crushes in media needs to be studied. I’m tired of the girlboss mary sue archetypes that don’t need men in their life. Bring back whimsy and girls who have love interests 💔

That character just wasn’t very well-established or compelling. Her heart-to-heart with Shadow is one of the most random, unearned things in the entire franchise, which is why she’s so easily replaceable in that position. That’s just one example of her haphazard usage.

If you wanna be angry that Amy doesn’t chase Sonic, then you better be equally mad Sonic doesn’t run from her anymore. Just tired of the hypocrisy like they both didn’t develop in the evolution of their bond.

Sonic Characterization Accuracy tier list by Bravia! NOT based on how much I enjoy portrayals but rather things like how well it embodies the origin or how how well it showcases core traits. Musical themes, gameplay, story framing, and relationship dynamics are also factored in.

Musing about Toy Story dynamics, particularly with the ships. I have words to say, one of them being I do not like how people (often ulterior motive shippers — fujos, if you will) Woody-Bo Peep or Jessie-Buzz gets disingenously whittled down like this is a shabby written shonen.
