A man who was shot by police and later died had to wait 10 extra minutes for an ambulance after an officer having a "mild anxiety attack" took the first one that arrived at the scene, according to a newly released state investigation. cbsn.ws/40uVQVB
They have an Administrative warrant.
Administrative warrants have been used for decades and recognized by the Supreme Court and lower courts.
In every case that DHS uses an Administrative warrant to enter a residence, an illegal alien has already had their full due process and a final order of removal by a federal immigration judge. The officer also has probable cause.
Replying to @mollylroberts
The officer Sandwich Guy is charged with assaulting testifies that he could feel the impact of the sandwich through his ballistic vest, and it “exploded all over my uniform.” He says he could “smell the onions and the mustard.”
“There’s actually a fairly simple way to fix the US legal system” and then it’s just dumb rambling from someone who has zero understanding of the US legal system which would actually make everything they think would be better, much much worse.
There’s actually a fairly simple way to fix the US legal system and end the revolving door of low level criminal madness.
Repeal the right to a public defender.
This is entirely a judge made law with ZERO precedence in the first 150 years of the American republic.
From the founding to 1932 you either had to pay for your own lawyer, defend yourself with your own eloquence, or have a family friend act as your attorney.
This would immediately solve the problem of 75 IQ violent idiots clogging the court system. Do we actually care if a violent 75 IQ fool with zero intelligent friends or family gets talked by a prosecutor into signing an agreement to serve 50 years on a chain gang? Or do we consider that probably the most efficient outcome?
This would also immediately start to bankrupt the legal class and cut them off from the infinite supply of taxpayer money the criminal justice system currently represents
I would be a better Senator than @SenatorBanks. He’s a bad Hoosier.
One town hall away from agreeing that immigrants aren’t entitled to due process
It’s becoming very apparent that the Paw Patrol generation has no idea how the criminal justice system works. Reading their thoughts on criminal defense brings back feelings of the ivermectin crusaders in 2020. No critical thinking, just incohate vibes.
Good ruling from the 7th Circuit. Plus, Judge Pryor is SCOTUS material.
The ACLU of Indiana argued the law prevents officers from being held accountable while stripping citizens of their right to “observe and record the police.” wane.com/news/indiana/us-app…
One of the most important theologians of the 20th century. Even more, one of the most important social thinkers and commentators for the church in the 20th century. Whatever significant deconstruction I’ve gone through, Walter Brueggemann still held true at every turn.
