Answer: Bet big (3.9bb). ✅
K♦️Q♠️ is top pair with a strong kicker, and K♣️T♣️7♦️ is a dynamic two-high-card board.
The key concept is how our range changes depending on our position:
Wider range: When we're BTN vs BB, we have a big equity advantage but less nut advantage, so a small size like 25% pot works well.
Tighter range: From the HJ, our opening range is stronger. We still have a significant equity advantage, but now we also have a bigger nut advantage.
Dynamic board: Because K♣️T♣️7♦️can change dramatically on future streets, we want to build the pot now rather than allow the BB to realize their equity cheaply.
So with our tighter HJ range and a dynamic board, sizing up makes sense.
Bet big with K♦️Q♠️ and build the pot while we have the advantage.

When Danny first joined PokerCoaching, his average buy-in was just $5. Today, he's crushing the toughest $10Ks in poker.
This is what consistent study, hard work, and the right community can achieve. Huge congratulations, Danny—we're all rooting for you! 💙
Now here's where things get interesting. The king of spades brings in the four-flush.
A lot of players automatically size down on these connected turns, but not here.
Because you're in position with a high SPR, you still want to build the pot with your strongest hands. While both players can have flushes, only one player can have the nut flush. If you have it, they don't.
That asymmetry makes overbetting a powerful option.
Q❤️3❤️ is actually a great bluff because it unblocks your opponent's one-pair and weaker one-spade hands that are likely to fold. The logic is simple: use strong value hands alongside bluffs with great unblockers to maximize folds.

The poker industry is especially brutal, and there are 4 cardinal rules that nobody is immune from breaking; or you will go broke.
In order of importance:
1: Bankroll Management
2: Game Selection
3: Constant Improvement
4: Volume
Variance comes for us all, and it is long.

AJ with a ♦️ still has strong equity, and the BB’s check-raising range should be wide here — not just nutted hands.
If we only call, a ton of turns (2/4/6/♦️/7/8/9/T) put us in a tough spot facing another barrel with very little clarity.
And even when the BB does have a 3, they’re in a pretty uncomfortable spot versus a jam.
