For the youngsters, the Party was something absolute, all inclusive-the air they breathed, the bread they ate, the iron they cast. For Shor, the Party was something so close to his heart that at times he blushed when talking about his work, like a man recounting the intimate details of his private life. The party had seemed tiny to him when he first joined it. They met in Fischberg's flat- Comrade Yegor, Comrade Varya, Comrade Smirnov. Their fingers were stained with ink; they poured gelatine into a tray and drew out the pallid leaflets. Their thoughts were clear but the letters were as hazy as the future. Twenty-four years had passed since then. Now the Party seemed to Shor as huge as the world. It built industrial combines, opened up the steppe, pumped oil along pipelines and kindled Martin furnaces. It fostered a hundred and fifty million people. The Party's road was long. That road, to Shor, was life. shop.thecommunists.org/produ…

Burkinabe Researchers Develop Bio-Insecticide Against Malaria and Dengue Fever 🇧🇫 Joseph Ki-Zerbo University has developed a product based on the leaves of Calotropis procera that targets the larvae of Anopheles gambiae and Aedes aegypti mosquitoes, the respective vectors of malaria and dengue fever. The project's results were presented on October 8. ▪️ Trials showed a larval elimination rate of 80 to 90%. ▪️The product comes in the form of matrix tablets designed to prolong its action. ▪️ The project required approximately three and a half years of research. ▪️ The goal is to provide a local solution and reduce reliance on chemical insecticides. 🔬 The researchers wish to continue the trials and work on the production of the bio-insecticide at a lower cost.

Victory Parade. Red Square. June 24th 1945. The captured banners of the Nazi German Wehrmacht were thrown at the foot of Lenin’s mausoleum, upon which stood the general command and leadership of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (Bolshevik), led by Generalissimo and comrade Stalin. Let the rehabilitated Fascists and imperialist ruling class of Europe and the USA tremble at the memory. We will never again allow them to dominate and despoil our world unopposed. All their aggressive wars will fail. All their proxies - from Israel to Ukraine, UAE to South Korea - will fall. Join the axis of resistance! “Butterflies remember neither the lumbering caterpillar nor the cocoon in its suspended animation. Butterflies just flit blithely around. But a prince has a surfeit of memories. He remembers for himself and for others. He is sickly, frail and, to be quite frank, worthless.”

I have just watched the film NAZA . NAZA is a Hebrew military acronym for "collateral damage". It was the most harrowing film I have ever seen. The cold conditioning of a society to commit genocide. The IDF perpetrators compare themselves to NAZIS. TAKE NOTE, IHRA-mongers.

Educational video: press conference of Greens for Palestine today. GB News reporter and Sky news wait outside to hurl abuse at Palestinian Woman Lubna Spetian who authored and moved the motion adopted by the Green Party conference that “Zionism os Racism!” These “news reporters” are not interested in listening or balance. Only in accusing Libna of being a racist, for their pro-Genocide soundbite. Check it out! This is how lies can get half way around the world before the truth has time to put its boots on!

An engaging lecture, but a tendency to lump China and Russia as “core” - along with the US, Britain, Japan and the EU! - and see other nations as “periphery” undermines a true understanding of the real economic essence of imperialism and fails to see the chief contradiction in the world today. Between imperialism and the nations struggling against imperialism. An analysis that fails also to see the role of class struggle within Britain and all nations, tends towards a metaphysical and sterile conception of action, and consequent despair. “Elites” function. But who are they? What is the motive force for their action? It fails to take account of the contradiction between wage labour and capital. This “periphery / core” theory undermines the real solidarity that must exist between all peoples struggling against NATO imperialism, their economic domination and their drive to war. It fails to understand where the drive to war comes from. Is it an ideological property of the elite? Is it a derivative of the division between “core and periphery”? This division of “periphery / core”, while taking its “inspiration” from the physiological or anatomical model of a single organism (the human circulation or nervous system) fails to build an adequate economic model of the world we live in today. In particular it fails to take note of BRICS, or that China is a country that (despite considerable market orientation) is run by the communist party, having victoriously ejected imperialist domination by a major revolutionary struggle and performed miracles of socialist construction. That China is not only socialist in its leadership and tradition, but in many respects represents a model that oppressed nations are aspiring to achieve. It fails to see that although Russia is economically a capitalist nation since the fall of the USSR, it is NOT an imperialist nation and is locked in (defensive, on its part) mortal combat with the NATO and EU imperialists (via the latter’s implantation and use of fascism in Ukraine). To describe Russia and China as “Part of the game” is simply not good enough. It is theoretically lazy, but more importantly politically pernicious, as it plays into the hands of the Anglo-American imperialist propagandists. This is what comes of the conscious effort of western academia to “avoid the framework of Marxism” or to re-invent the wheel, rather than looking at the obvious social and economic facts. It is as if a modern student of the circulation wanted to “avoid the framework of Harvey”, or an astronomer wanted to “avoid the framework of Copernicus, Galileo and Kepler”… Theories are either correct or incorrect. They tend more or less adequately to describe the material reality that underpins them. Avoiding correct (Marxist, Leninist) ideas does not show “freedom of thinking”, but poverty of spirit and the slavish conformity required by the bourgeois sponsors and guardians of academic “production” and discourse. It is why liberation will come from the streets, from the struggles of the workers and oppressed, from working class leadership and organisation. Not bourgeois academia. As the movement grows, the battle for ideas will also become more acute.
