Lionsgate asked me to create a poster for The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. After seeing the film, I immediately wanted to draw on the anguish in Käthe Kollwitz’s work and the psychedelic, ornamental poster language of Tadanori Yokoo. Bringing these seemingly disparate approaches together felt right for The Hunger Games: violence is packaged as pastel-colored propaganda, and nature is laced with poison-perfumed flowers.

I have been on this space for so long, showing up everyday and pouring my heart and soul into my creations.
For the first time ever I am trending but unfortunately it is not my art.
I appreciate all the love and support. Thank you🩷

Community is more than coming together to celebrate the good moments. It's also about showing up for one another when life gets difficult. ❤️
Today, we're rallying around funds for @AduratheArtist and his dad, who has been diagnosed with prostate cancer.

Hi guys! ❤️
We're doing another fundraiser for @AduratheArtist and his dad, who has been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
The goal is to raise ₦20 million, and ₦9.1 million has already been raised. We still have ₦10.9 million to go.
Please support if you can. Every contribution helps, and if you can't contribute financially, a repost or helping spread the word would mean a lot.
Let's show up for Adura and his family. ❤️🤝🏾

So sorry man. I don’t know how helpful this might be, but I was thinking about a collaborative piece amongst artists on here to source out a reasonable amount for a donation. Just trying to think as big as possible.

In all my years living in Nigeria , I cannot remember a time when a government approaching an election wasn’t at least making some visible effort to appease the electorate. Usually, a few months or weeks to an election, you begin to see the familiar theatrics: sudden responsiveness, attempts to make life a little more bearable, promises, concessions and the general performance of a government that remembers it needs people’s votes.
But this? It’s quite something.
