WHY WOULD I EVEN WANT TO SWITCH BETWEEN PRIVATE AND PUBLIC TRANSACTIONS?
Because not every transaction needs the same level of visibility.
Payment to a friend? You might not care
Business transaction? You might need transparency.

The Initia Account Migration began last week. Since then, over 300,000 accounts have successfully migrated to a new address.
As a reminder, this migration is required for Initia Wallet Extension users to retain their Jennie and associated testnet data on Mainnet. You have until March 18th 3:00 AM UTC to complete this.
Here are some of the most frequently asked questions regarding the recent migration of Initia Wallet Extension:
Q: My Jennie is not shown when I connect my new wallet.
A: Not to worry; your data has been stored with us and mapped to the new address. It won't be visible on your end at the moment, but that is expected.
Q: Do I need to migrate if I imported to Metamask/Phantom?
A: If you have used Initia Wallet Extension in the past, yes. If not, no.
Q: Why is my address in Keplr different to that shown in the migration page?
A: Keplr supports both EVM and Cosmos. If you are seeing a different address, it is possible that you have selected something other than what your wallet was originally created using. To check your Keplr (EVM) Initia address, go to the Initia testnet app and connect via Keplr under the EVM wallets section instead and compare your Initia address.
Q: Why is my address in Leap different to that shown in the migration page?
A: Leap supports both EVM and Cosmos. If you are seeing a different address, it is possible that you have selected something other than what your wallet was originally created using. To check your Leap (EVM) Initia address, go to the Initia testnet app and connect via Leap under the EVM wallets section instead and compare your Initia address.
Q: How do we see the init address on Metamask (what is the RPC to add?)
A: You cannot. Initia is not an EVM network, and adding the RPC for custom network would not work for Initia. If you wish to see your Initia address, you can connect Metamask to the Initia Wallet Widget on the Initia App to view your address.
Q: If I did not use the Initia Wallet but I migrated anyway is this a problem?
A: You can only connect Initia Wallet for the “Old Wallet” on the migration page.
Q: I used my old wallet for whitelists from Tuzi/Anyo/etc. What happens to my whitelist?
A: We will share the migration data and work with all our partner teams to ensure they receive your migration data for your new wallet.
Q: Can I not just import my Private Key to another compatible wallet?
A: Due to the confusion stemming from EVM/Cosmos, we recommend you to use a fresh wallet for migration, and to remember which wallet you’ve used for migration.
