What a way to close out a project that started with a simple question about where legal drafting workflows break down for solo practitioners and boutique law firms in the UK. We were invited to attend the final MSc project demonstrations at @RavensbourneUK this week, where five Data Analytics students presented months of independent research built around a real business problem we posed as a real-world project partner for this cohort, through Foundermatcha. Each student took a different angle: sentiment analysis on legal tech tool reviews, topic modelling on practitioner discussions, tool adoption and failure patterns, cross-sector document risk classification, and workflow friction specifically around document drafting and management. Watching five independent approaches to the same underlying problem, and seeing where they converged and where they diverged, was genuinely valuable, exactly the kind of fresh analytical perspective this format is designed to produce. Thank you to Foundermatcha team, most especially Danielle Pontikis, for connecting us with this opportunity and making the collaboration possible. Thank you to Dr Sandra Fernando, Dr. Bayode Oluwatoba Ogunleye and Dr. Farzana Sharmin Mou at Ravensbourne University London for your support throughout, and for giving these students the space to work on a genuinely open-ended, real-world problem. Well done to Mayurkumar Vavadiya, Asmita Kalauni, Hasibul hasan, Sachith Gopu, and Aravind Arumugam on the work you put into this. We're looking forward to seeing how your findings inform our next steps. #LegalTech #AI #MScDataAnalytics #Ravensbourne
