Guys, how long do you guys as an artist wait for ur client to pay after sending the final art? Mine already paid 50% after sketch but it's been 5 days since i sent the final art (with big, non transparent wm) but there's still no response

But i'm still leaving this post here so other artist could reconsider whether the 50/50 payment method is a good to go or not. Ty! ^^

Oh and 1 more thing. I always do a quick profile visit before accepting a comm and they have traces of commissioning people. But it seems it still doesn't guarantee smooth communication.

I know a lot of people sees me as a fool. In fact, I DID create an invoice in the past but they also still ghosted me. I also reported them to the mod (this was on dc) AND SENDING THEM ALL THE PROOF but the mod just laughed it off and said "they" already changed.

Once again, i never send my full art without getting paid. I sent them the art but i'm blocking it with 2 solid colored squares as a proof that i'm done with the art. I'm considering of posting it with FULL WM LITERALLY and making a call out post if needed

Look, i'm just pissed off that i can't post the art i made with a lot of effort. I didn't get the payment, i also didn't get to post my art. And i also being told off as a person with no effort. Alr, i'm going to bury that art forever
