Disclaimer: built for practical/testing purposes, not to cheat interviews.
I built Whisper without AI coding assistance
It listens to interview questions and answers in real time, usually in under a second.
It can handle coding questions too, and in my current tests itโs around 98% accurate.
The desktop overlay also stays out of screen capture, so screen sharing only shows whatโs behind it.
Built with:
Tauri + Rust
React + TypeScript + Vite
Local Whisper + Deepgram
Gemini + Groq
This thing is lowkey scary fast.

Damn, this hits home.
Iโve been a boss for a min, but Iโve also had terrible bosses. In fact, verbal abuse from my boss was one of the reasons I left IHS end of 2016 and eventually started DRAG full-time.
I promised myself Iโd never lead people that way, but in 2023, I failed at that.
A client was angry over a delayed project, and instead of managing the pressure, I took it out on my assistant. I felt terrible afterwards, but I never apologised. Thatโs something I still own.
Today, that same assistant has a much better-paying job that takes him around the world. Iโm proud to have played a part in his growth, and weโre still very close friends.
That experience taught me something: Being under pressure doesnโt give you the right to become someone elseโs problem.
Leadership isnโt about how much authority you can exercise. Itโs about how much growth you can inspire without stripping people of their dignity.
You can correct people without humiliating them. You can demand excellence without being cruel.
Humility is an underrated leadership skill.
If your phone gets stolen today, do you have everything you need to track it?
Whether you use an iPhone or Android, take 5 minutes to do these things NOW. You might thank yourself later.

Dial *#06# on your phone.
Youโll see a 15-digit IMEI number. Some phones have two.
Write it down somewhere outside your phone, and keep your receipt or proof of purchase too.
Your IMEI can help the police and your network provider identify your device if itโs stolen.

Go to Settings โ Your Name โ Find My โ Find My iPhone.
Turn on:

โข Find My network
โข Send Last Location
If your iPhone gets stolen, visit:
icloud.com/find
Sign in with your Apple Account to locate your phone or activate Lost Mode.

If your phone gets stolen, visit:

Sign in with the Google Account linked to your phone.
You may be able to see its location, make it ring or secure it remotely.

Know which Apple or Google account is connected to your phone.
Make sure you can access it from another device.
If you use Google, you can generate backup verification codes and store them somewhere safe offline.
Imagine finding out you could track your stolen phone, but you canโt even log into the account. ๐ญ
๐ฆ๐๐ฒ๐ฝ ๐ฑ: ๐ง๐๐ฆ๐ง ๐๐ง ๐ก๐ข๐ช!
Open the tracking website on another device and check if your phone appears.
Donโt wait until your phone goes missing before discovering you never enabled tracking.
๐ข๐ป๐ฒ ๐น๐ฎ๐๐ ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ป๐ด:
Your IMEI doesnโt automatically let you track your phone online. Itโs useful information to provide to the police and your network provider.
And if you eventually locate a stolen phone, donโt try confronting the person yourself. Involve the police.
None of these guarantees youโll recover your phone, but they can improve your chances.
Save this and share it with someone. You never know when youโll need it.
Tough time now sounds funny when we look back, that shows we are in a better place, thank God for life. ๐๐พ

That need to understand what's going on in my life drove me to message Bob Proctor's platform via email, i can't remember what i said, but dem recommend one of their programs gimme, tear me $200 billing, my eyes clear one time, i sent another email explaining my finances ๐คฃ
In 2018, I was learning shoemaking, and one day I got to the shop late.
My boss told me to kneel outside, then handed one of my seniors a belt and told him to flog me if I moved.
Lmfao ๐ญ
I looked at my senior, stood up without saying a word, went inside, packed my things and left.
My boss was shouting, โDid I tell you to stand up?โ but I didnโt even look back. That was my last day there.
When I got home and told my mum, she said they were lucky I left because if anyone had flogged me, they wouldโve regretted it. And trust me, I know my mum ๐ญ
A few months later, I started learning printing on mugs, clothes and picture frames.
During a fuel scarcity, my new boss sent me and a senior apprentice to buy fuel. He specifically told us not to buy if it cost more than โฆ700 per litre.
We searched everywhere until we finally found somewhere selling at โฆ700.65. Just 65 kobo extra.
We bought 20 litres and returned to the shop.
This man asked why we bought it despite the extra 65 kobo. We tried explaining, but he dragged my senior inside and beat the hell out of him.
And while beating him, he kept saying I was next.
Omo, I ran home out of fear ๐ญ๐ญ
After a few more years of trying different things, I eventually found my way into tech, and thankfully, Iโm doing well for myself today.
Looking back, some of the things apprentices went through in the name of learning a skill were actually insane.
Youโll try so many things in life, but as long as you keep going, youโll eventually find your purpose.

Exactly. Making money is a skill, keeping it is discipline, and multiplying it is wisdom. Saving alone won't make you rich, investing will.
Something they said at a seminar in my school today:
Knowing how to make money alone wonโt get you out of poverty.
You also need to know:
โข How to manage money
โข How to multiply money
โข How to maintain money
Cos whatโs the point of making money if you canโt keep it?

Thereโs a thin line between disciplining a student and embarrassing them.
And I think ordering someone who came to learn a skill at your place to knell down in front of your shop, in full view of onlookers, under the rain, just because she came late Shouldnโt be considered decipline but humiliation.
I used to treat LinkedIn like a job. Once I missed a day of posting, Iโd feel like Iโd lost consistency and just stop until I was ready to fully commit again
Recently, I said fuck it. No content calendar, no pressure. I just started reposting whatever I share here on X.
And guess what? I got my first serious lead from LinkedIn today, and weโve scheduled a call for Saturday.
Really hoping it goes well.
Weโve reached a point where someone can write an extremely intelligent 10-paragraph post about something they know absolutely nothing about.
Everything sounds convincing until you ask them one follow-up question.

The ratio of graduates to roles is very wide.
That's why most of these top companies set hard assessments to weed off a lot of applicants.
That's why; You're either freelancing - unstable/
You have a business - Capital + marketing/
A solution people would continually pay for.
Hereโs a free accessibility test you can run on any website in 60 seconds.
Put your mouse aside.
Press Tab and try navigating the entire website using only your keyboard.
Can you see which button is selected?
Can you open the menu?
Can you fill and submit a form?
Can you close a popup without getting stuck?
If not, some people may genuinely be unable to use that website.
A beautiful interface isnโt necessarily an accessible one.
Just saw someoneโs LinkedIn profile and it says โJoined in 2006.โ
2006??? ๐ญ
I only found out LinkedIn existed like 4 years ago, and some people have been on there for 20 YEARS???
Someone will tell you they need a simple website.
Next thing, theyโre describing user authentication, wallet funding, live chat, payment processing and an admin dashboard.
Bro, youโre not describing a website anymore. Youโre describing an entire company
You joined X in March 2024 and youโve already blocked 1.3 MILLION people? ๐ญ
Thatโs roughly 1,400 people EVERY DAY since you created your account.
Almost one person every minute, including when youโre supposed to be sleeping.
Bro, is blocking people your full-time job? ๐ญ
