For curious people, they’re back to the 3DS engine with standard NintendoWare formats for the most part, so nothing too bad. Animated portraits use Spine, mentions of DLSS too (unsure if used), AngelScript, some datamined obelisk bgm for the 4 cut lords

I've always felt sad that Engage did not have the cut-ins like previous games, so I took it upon myself to cook something up after seeing this post. Still very WIP, might post the mod when finished. (Ignore the undercooked roguelite gameplay mod moving the units at the start)

I forgot how peak the crits in Engage are until I made this. The lines are good as always, but the animations really elevate them imo Here's my favorite crit quote from every character in Engage (Zelkov gets two just because)

I've made a mod for Fire Emblem Engage that implements the Boon/Bane system from Awakening/Fates into the game for Alear! Once installed, players can pick their preferred boon/bane when starting a new game, and Alear's stats will be adjusted accordingly! gamebanana.com/mods/684944
