5th grade students honored the recent Lunar New Year holiday by reading nonfiction texts about related customs & traditions, drawing Dragons, and learning to write a traditional greeting. Sharing diverse cultural customs is so important! @mbernal_DrB @fernbrooknj

Welcoming Spring with a buddy activity! We read “I Am a Bee”(McDonald) and helped our gr1 buddies to create paper bees for the student-designed Spring-themed bulletin board display. Sharing great books made buddy time even more fun! @mbernal_DrB @fernbrooknj
