For everyone not aware, this trading competition is the result of the hard work of our combined teams for over eight months now since the launch of v0.82.
All of our combined resources have been poured into hours of blood, sweat, and tears. Personally, @levysaur and I have read most of the feedback and have relentlessly pushed forward to significantly improve the UX on the platform.
Symm's approach was, from the start, bottom to top. The first year of development, we worked tirelessly on creating a sustainable liquidity model where solvers can list any asset while ensuring 100% liveness—something that is often neglected in other DEXs to date, now with multiple solvers there should never be a downtime on symm.
& This past year, UX was the focus, and this trading competition is the starting signal for the next era of intent-based derivatives.

So @IntentX_ has in the past 24 hours:
- been 100x more capital efficient than competitors
- allowed traders to trade the largest amount of tokens on any DEX
- paid traders to trade
- put 100% of revenue aside to pay future stakers
I could go on. But you get the picture.
So DyDx has in the past 24 hours:
-Auto deleveraged profitable traders closing their trades.
-Threatened to sue traders for losses incurred from their bad params.
Synthetix on the other hand lost funds on the TRB price vol, made it back in <72 hours, and doesn't have the power to deleverage anyone.
I wonder which if these systems is actually decentralized and user focused, and which is just a way for VC market makers to pummel users in "onchain" perps?
