According to various reports, Peter Claffey, best known for his stellar role in ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ as Sir Duncan the Tall, has been cast as Dr. Hank McCoy in the MCU’s X-Men reboot.
Claffey is a great actor, and being 6’5”, he is a solid choice to play the mutant ‘Beast’.
He would be joining:
- Sadie Sink as Jean Grey
- Kit Connor as Cyclops/Scott Summers
- Christopher Abbott as Charles Xavier/Prof. X
- Samara Weaving as Emma Frost
- Inde Navarrette as Rogue
- Maya Boyd as Storm/Ororo Munroe
- Asa Germann as Angel/Warren Worthington III
- Adam Driver as Mister Sinister
While this isn’t completely official yet, this reported news seems more likely to be truthful, but only time will tell.

Absolutely terrible 😢. I was able to chat with Eric a couple of times, such a nice down-to-Earth dude.
Prayers are with his family and loved ones.

John Collins made a whole fool out of Jaylen Brown on this. 😂
Blocked in the corner, shut down the iso and forced a turnover.
