The biggest shift I have noticed on X/Twitter since joining the fantasy space in 2019 (Hacked) is the community's respect for each other. I joined and was quickly greeted with positive vibes and constructive criticism. We had a great group of guys in a chat that helped us all grow. Many are making it to very high-end roles in the space as we speak -- YKIYK. This feels lost in the current space; too many people want to be right, prove they are "better". The attacking or degrading tweets are just too many--really ruining the quality of the space. That said, policing is needed as well. The algorithm and climate have proven that quality is not the easiest way to high follower counts. This generates poor takes and poor accountability, as the push to get out as much content as you can feels necessary. For whoever reads this, just know that if you are creating content, every tweet is an audition if you have aspirations in the space. It's more about your process and you as a person than being right. We will all be wrong plenty of times; we are literally predicting the future --- dont forget that. If you feel lost in the mess, know you're not alone, and it's a tough road; don't give up. I have had success in this industry to a certain level, and I struggle daily with feeling inadequate. Thanks for attending my vent session. Let's go win Week 7.
