Spent the whole week building a trading bot for the @NoncoDucks community
The goal was simple: give every duck an edge on memecoins without needing to be a pro trader.
I failed.
But on the way down I found some terrifying things you need to know:
THE FACTORIES
Some wallets don’t trade. They manufacture. They launch anywhere from 10 to 500 tokens a day, like an assembly line, and a few of them graduate 15–29% of their tokens when the market average is 0.6%.
Looked like the holy grail. So we followed them.
Here’s what one does, all inside a single second:
Creates the token
Buys its own launch with 5–18 SOL in the SAME transaction, so the price is already 5–6x before the first candle even exists
Sells 1 to 5 seconds later
By the time you see it “pumping,” you’re buying exactly what the factory is selling you.
We tested it with real money. Millisecond detection, direct to validator execution, everything available. When we got filled, we paid 62% more than the factory did. Most of the time we didn’t get filled at all, because the price was already gone.
You can’t outrun someone who’s playing inside their own transaction.
☠THE TOXIC WALLETS
We found almost 600 wallets that keep showing up early in tokens that get drained. When one of them is among the first buyers, 63% of those tokens rug. When none of them are, it’s 28%.
It’s not bad luck. It’s the same names every time.
THE “100% WIN RATE” TRADERS
We copied one ranked at 100% win rate. Copying him, we hit 25%. He wins by getting in first and selling to whoever copies him. His followers are his exit liquidity.
And a study out this week puts numbers on it: of $752M in big wins on pump fun, only 26% came from normal trading. Half came from wallets dumping tokens the creator sent them. They never bought anything. No bot on earth can copy that.
So here’s the conclusion:
On pump fun, if you’re last in line, you’re not the customer. You’re the product.
I’m not going to sell you a bot that doesn’t win. I’d rather tell you this and make sure no duck ends up as some factory’s exit liquidity.
Still building. Just not there.
Week 1 posters are out. 🎬
The studios have spoken.
Here's how this week's slate shook out:
🎭 Comedy: 8 films
🩸 Horror: 5
🚀 Sci-Fi: 2
🤠 Western: 2
💘 Romance: 1
Comedy is packed. Eight studios fighting for the same audience, and every rival in your genre cuts into your billboard.
Meanwhile, one lonely romance has the whole date-night crowd to itself.
Some of you showed up to casting with absolutely ridiculous ducks. The critics noticed.
Now the hard part: waiting. The audience decides on Sunday.
Holding a Final Cut? This is your moment. Everyone else, grab popcorn
Having fun and winning in the same line. 🤝
Got lucky and won the Boss of bosses contest for @NoncoDucks ! I took the eth and bought a movie studio and extra $Nonco for traits/packs. Also built these dope ducks over the weekend! DuckMaster is building a super fun platform and everyone should check it out! LDG!! 🦆 🚀
Buy a pack with $NONCO
Build a duck.
Walk the runway.
Win ETH.
🤝
I love seeing the @LazyLionsNFT ROAR and my friends winning!
P.S. Don’t sleep on what @kaneco & @DDKing987 are building at @LazyEdgeSports.
What if your duck didn't just star in films… but lived in a city?
What if you were the croupier at the Pond's casino, taking a cut of everything the house makes?
What if packs weren't bought from a menu, but from a shop on Main Street… run by your duck, earning on every pack sold?
What if your duck had a home: a tent today, a lakefront mansion tomorrow?
Just thinking out loud. Would you play?
Introducing POND WOOD 🎬
The movie capital of the Pond. Own a studio, cast your ducks, release a film every week, and fight for the Sunday box office.
40 lots. Prizes in ETH. Live now.
Here’s how it works 🧵
The best ducks don’t always win.
Five studios chasing the top genre each lose 40 points. The empty Western can take the week.
Read the billboard. Cast for the role. Pick your gear. Spy before Friday.
It’s a game of reads, not wallets.
The lot is open.
Season 1 is live. Opening weekend counts as week 1, so you can make your film today. First Box Office: Sunday Oct 25, 8 PM ET.
Just added: studio rentals.
Lights. Ducks. Action. 🎞️
studio.nonconformistducks.co…
Pond Wood studios are now for rent.
Own one you’re not using? Lease it by the week. Paid on signing, tax covered.
Never built one? Rent a fully geared studio and keep 100% of the box office.
Opening weekend counts as week 1. The lot is open.
Day two of Pond Wood and someone already built a Soundstage.
JURGENS. Three pieces of gear rented, supporting cast on payroll, and a shack sized town around him still reading the rules.
He hasn't released a single film yet.
First box office is Sunday the 25th.
Lots are still for sale. The town isn't built. This is the part you'll wish you'd seen.

Pond Wood is open.
The movie capital of the Pond, where your ducks stop being pictures and start working for a living.
Here’s the shape of it. There are forty lots and no more. You buy one, you build a studio, and from then on you release one film a week. Monday the billboard tells you which genres the public wants. Monday to Thursday you build your film in secret. Friday every poster in town goes public and you finally see what you’re up against, too late to change anything. Sunday night the box office comes out, film by film, last place to first and the best films are paid in ETH.
Your duck’s affinity isn’t a number someone assigned it. When a duck is published, an AI screen test reads its final look as a whole and scores it for all six genres. Not trait by trait: a mummy wrap reads horror against a dark background and comedy next to a party hat. Those scores are public, on OpenSea, on every duck, go look at yours right now. Some of you are sitting on a 92-Horror lead and don’t know it.
Then there’s the part nobody can see. Every genre has eight roles; four are on the call sheet each week, the same four for everyone. You name your character and pick the part. Each role secretly looks for certain answers in your duck’s profile and runs from others, and it judges the look too. Born for the part: +20. Absurd in it: −20. A 90-Horror duck in the wrong role plays like a 70, and you don’t find out until Sunday in front of everyone.
Every drop now has its week on screen. Hall of Fame is this week’s Action edition, Stardust is Sci-Fi. Two traits from a collection make a duck ✦ for it, one pack is usually enough. Declare the edition on your call sheet and the poster carries the name: Sci-Fi · Stardust Edition. Each ✦ lead adds +6. Two traits, not ten: dressing a duck head to toe in one collection wins you nothing extra. It’s a casting call, not an arms race. Editions rotate with the drops.
You don’t need a lot to play. List a duck on the job board for 5 $NONCO a week and set your cut, a percentage of the prize of any film that hires it. Producers pay that out of their own winnings. Set your ducks’ profiles, publish a look that reads like something, and let other people’s studios pay you. ✦ ducks get picked first when someone is casting that edition.
Legacy ducks act too. They can’t equip traits, so they perform with their sealed art, exactly as it was forged. Their affinities never change. Veterans, typecast for life, and all 122 are already on the call sheets.
Where the money goes: 60% of everything spent in Pond Wood comes back as prizes. Weekly box office pays the top 12, the Golden Duck takes a quarter of the pot. Indie Darling goes to the best Backlot of the week, so a shack can beat a tower. After six weeks the season champion takes the season pot and a star on the Walk of Fame. All in ETH.
How to be in the first box office, in four steps:
Open the Studio and fill your duck’s profile: nine questions, two minutes. No profile, no casting.
Publish its look. The screen test runs on its own a minute later and gives you your six genre scores.
Buy a lot: 5,000 $NONCO, yours to resell with your studio’s level, trophies and history attached.
Pick a genre, name your characters, lock the film by Thursday 23:59.
No lot? Stop at step two and list the duck instead.
We’re opening on a Friday, so the whole weekend counts as Monday of week one, buy, cast and build with no clock on you. First box office: Sunday the 25th, 21:00 BA.
Forty lots. When they’re gone, the only way in is buying one from a holder.

Kamo just got back from Tokyo and now he thinks he’s some delinquent school boy.
Every trait you equipped was an audition. You just didn’t know it.
Published Duck 2.0s are getting new stats, read from the full look: background, clothes, eyes, all of it. Together.
A Silk Kimono in a jewelry boutique? Comedy 72.
What’s yours made for?
