LATEST: @FranklnTempletn launched grBENJI on Monday, a tokenized share class of Franklin's US government money market fund distributed through @HashKeyExchange Hong Kong under HK SFC Type 1 and Type 7 licenses and plans to extend it to Singapore, Tokyo, Dubai, and Bermuda next.
A $1.80 trillion asset manager just moved the eligibility check from the broker's paperwork to the token holder's wallet. Only wallets carrying a verified professional-investor credential clear the transfer at all.
Sovereignty is the layer that decides who is allowed to hold the asset.
