Are you ever scared? That’s okay.
Fear is our natural response to a perceived threat, or to stepping into something uncertain that matters to us. It can show up before important decisions, hard conversations, or moments when we have to step outside our comfort zones. 🧵1/3
I felt it when I applied to become a USAF Thunderbird pilot. It was a months-long process, and voices of doubt and uncertainty rang in my ears all along the way. But I understood as a fighter pilot that uncertainty came with the job. 🧵2/3
Sometimes, our best-laid plans go awry, and we are left leaning on our resilience. If we do it right, we’ll be ready for a resurgence and rise stronger and more capable than ever.

Resilience makes resurgence possible. When you fall or fail at something, your resilience lets you absorb the blow without breaking and it helps you survive. But, survival isn’t the same as coming back stronger. 🧵(1/3)
