Michigan football suffered a fallout this month, but behind the scenes the signs were brewing for months.
Coaches not speaking, storming out of meetings and a focus on women instead of the team.
How Sherrone Moore lost his locker room and so much more.

Final: Houston 83, Michigan 66.
A test that will help U-M down the line, but not one it was ready for today.
Outrebounded (42-31), outscored in paint (26-14), shot just 27.6% from 3 (9-of-33), made only 6 of 11 layups and more than 1/3 of its points came from FT line (23).
There have been 40 fouls in 49 minutes of play. Exactly what everybody came to see in an exhibition.
I echo what one fan screamed who's nearby: "THE LIONS PLAY AT 4:30."
There have been 13 fouls called in 6:48 of action this half. Like come on stripes, nobody came here to see you. This is insane.
JP Estrella just threw down a thunderous slam on a bounce-pass from Elliot Cadeau, then let the nearby defender know about it with a point right in his face.
He's called for a tech, his fourth foul of the day with 14:19 to play.
HALF: Houston 38, Michigan 31.
The Wolverines have taken 27 shots, 20 have been from 3-point range. The bigger problem? They're not making them, just 5-of-20.
Wolverines didn't make consecutive shots at any point and Houston ended half on a 13-2 run. Not very pretty overall.
Internet is spotty, to say the least, so updates may be few and far between.
Houston leads Michigan 24-20 at the under-8 media timeout after a quick 6-0 run from the Wolverines. Both Moustapha Thiam and JP Estrella have two fouls.
Trey McKenney leads U-M with six points.
Timeline cleanser: Michigan basketball warming up for its final exhibition against Houston in Grand Rapids.
This should be a great litmus test for the defending national champions, particularly in terms of physicality and rebounding.
Took a closer look at Jason Beck’s contract last night. Fans want him gone. That very well may be the right decision, but it’s expensive.
Here’s how much U-M could owe after paying $4.5 million (w/ signing bonus) year 1 if it fires Beck without cause.

When Michigan takes the field next week at Rutgers, it will have been more than a month since the offense scored a touchdown on a possession that was not started by a defensive turnover (4th quarter, Iowa, Sept. 26).
Final (OT): Indiana 13, Michigan 6.
Tommy Carr nearly connected with Salesi Moa on 4th-and-9 but it just hit the turf. Defense deserved to win. Offense most definitely did not.
Wolverines fall to 4-3.
Tommy Carr, how bout it.
On fourth-and-5 with the game on the line, he scrambles for 6 and picks up the first down.
Touchdown, Indiana.
It took two plays in OT for the first TD of the game: a 4-yard QB keeper by Josh Hoover. Wolverines get a chance to respond — and I wonder if they go for 2 if they get in the end zone.
Indiana 13, Michigan 6.
END OF REGULATION: Michigan 6, Indiana 6.
Trey Butkowski drills a 26-yard field goal as time expires to keep Michigan's season alive. U-M had it first-and-goal at the 10 with a chance to win, but couldn't punch it in.
To overtime we go.
Tommy Carr with an incredible play on third-and-10, side-stepping the rush after he rolled out and throwing across the field for a pickup of 24.
Then, he finds Buchanan on third-and-3. Quite the finish upcoming with Michigan facing 1st-and-goal, down 3 with 2 minutes to play.

Three and out again for Indiana. Josh Hoover had room to run on a second-down keeper and lost his feet near the line of scrimmage. Just an everything-that-can-go-wrong day for this offense. Something we've never seen at this scale in Curt Cignetti's tenure. #iufb
Indiana QB Josh Hoover had a WIDE open lane up the right side on second-and-5. Could've gained 20 yards. Instead he tripped over the turf monster.
Then, U-M stuffs the run on third down to force the punt. Michigan ball at the 39, 7:32 left.
Massive call upcoming.
Michigan's punt may have indirectly hit an IU player in the area, but the call on the field was it did not and is Indiana ball at the 36. Play under review.
Can't say definitively one way or the other with the views I've seen, IU offense coming on field.
U-M's offense can't fully capitalize on a trip starting in the red zone, but it's points as Trey Butkowski hits from 29 yards.
That's the sixth straight U-M score that has come directly off a turnover. No points solely generated by O since Q4 vs Iowa.
IU 6, U-M 3, 2:22 left Q3.
