Coyotes establish and defend territories,
especially during the breeding season (January to
March) and when raising pups (April to September).
Territories are marked with scent (urine, feces) and
vocalizations to ward off intruders. @ReconyxInc

Note the date and time stamp, little #tapir being followed by jaguar!
We are trying to unravel this situation. Baby tapir seems to have been attacked. We can't tell if it survived... It was with its mother early on in the night, then hours later by itself with a jaguar following it. Stay tuned as we go through the images! @whapavt
