Marshall’s verse was way better than expected. Loved the Polyfuze shout out and wish he woulda mentioned trying to battle rap Kid Rock at @RecordTimeDET.

The Kraftwerk to Detroit pipeline was very real. Every legendary DJ in the Dance Room @RecordTimeDET idolized them. Growing up hearing “you got that Kraftwerk?” from the coolest people around will never get old.

Saddened by this. My older brother introduced me to Kraftwerk in the late '70s and I bought thriftstore 8 tracks of them that I would listen to while working out in my family's basement & garage in suburban NJ. Mind-expanding in all the best ways! RIP bbc.com/news/entertainment-a…

Kraftwerk founder Florian Schneider dies at 73

The German quartet set the template for electronic music and influenced scores of other artists.

August 30, 1998. Madison Square Garden. SummerSlam. Insane Clown Posse’s first night in the WWF wasn’t a match they walked out live and performed “The Greatest Show” while The Oddities made their way to the ring. Face paint, MSG, Attitude Era, the whole building getting that carnival theme. That was the debut. They’d get in the ring later. This night they just showed up and made it weird in the best way. WHOOP WHOOP!!

I'm sorry we never got a chance to meet, but getting this note from Dolly really had a an impact on me. She definitely didn't have to take the time to do it. Even for a kid who mostly listened to rap music, she was an icon. A superstar in every sense. Rest easy Dolly. And thank you for the kind words.

I have had incredible results getting children to read and focus on books when I actively dj-ing minimal techno with the subs on. I am wondering if there's a Richie Hawtin library hack for education
