Oh no just a miscommunication/misunderstanding from some people that think I probably am not happy with reborn IP getting revived
I am, it's just that I'm saying my opinion about why continuation anime/movie is preferable over a remake/reboot (which is a big demand by most fans)

Instead of throwing out childish insults like the majority unfortunately do on social media, lets have a peaceful chat! 😁
Despite all the issues and complains people had with the original anime, I loved it. It's my third favorite anime of all time and I plan on making a review on it sometime on my channel! Tsuna is arguably my favorite anime protagonist ever(it's always between him, Mikoto Misaka, and Rimuru Tempest). The show was one of the most iconic memories for me discovering anime during my middle school years in the early 2010s since I remembered spending every day watching at least 5-10 episodes! 😎👍
With that being said, as much as it'd be cool for them to just continue where the OG left off, I also recognize that that would be a very bad idea from a business perspective. Katekyo Hitman Reborn is not Naruto. It's not Dragon Ball Z. It's not Bleach. A show like Reborn doesn't have leisure to have 200+ episodes, disappear for over a decade, then come back continuing from where they left off with the expectation that it's going to be successful with just their current fanbase alone. Reborn was so nichè in the west that the official English localization of the manga got cancelled.
In order for this series to grow, they NEED new fans. It NEEDS to reach audiences globally. And what better way to grab a wider audience then to remake the anime?
They could've continued where they left off with the 90s Hunter x Hunter anime, but look at how successful the series is now thanks to the 2011 remake. Why do you think Toei Animation is remaking the first season of World Trigger? It's because the first time they tried introducing that anime in the west over a decade ago, it failed(due to the bad animation and slow pacing). When World Trigger came back a few years ago with seasons 2 & 3, they executed the anime MUCH better but still failed to capture a much bigger audience because people were not willing to go through 50+ lower quality episodes to get to the higher quality seasons. So Toei Animation decided that the best(and last) chance they have to push the World Trigger IP globally is to give it new life by remaking the first season. Which is smart.
I totally get and understand why you'd want the upcoming anime project to continue from the OG. And honestly part of me kinda wants that too since the OST and overall charm of the OG anime is irreplaceable!
But for the longevity of this series, it's best that they do remake it, buddy.
