I’m pretty happy USSR brought my grandmother down from the inhospitable Caucasian mountains and settled her in the plains and then gave her an education, a job, even a hobby (she made her own skin care line) and an amazing apartment in the city of Tbilisi.
(Her personality was still a bit harsh like the mountain environment though 😃)
