If you lick the boots of politicians, you might be less likely to notice their boot on your neck. Or the necks of your neighbors.

calling it “friendsgiving” because apparently the problem with celebrating the genocide and ethnic cleansing of Indigenous nations on Turtle Island was ….. the guest list?!?
Leftists talk about political futures and voting without confronting what this system means for Indigenous sovereignty.
White narcissism is wild. There’s an epidemic of missing and murdered Indigenous people, and y’all think we’re gonna swallow our rage and keep playing small.
Most climate justice and leftist spaces are anti-Indigenous. They require us to shrink our realities for a “collective liberation” that ignores our inherent right to sovereignty.
Our erasure is so vast we’re expected to assimilate into the occupation of our own homelands.

Really can’t stand these tone-deaf “Merry October 7” posts from Westerners who’ve fetishized the resistance, consumed it like entertainment, and now talk about October 7 as if it were the pilot episode of some show they’ve become emotionally invested in.
There are Palestinians, both inside Gaza and across the diaspora, who’ve spent their entire lives supporting the resistance and who still support it today, yet when October 7 comes around, they speak about it with a tinge of sadness. Not because they suddenly regret resistance, but because for many of them, it marks the last moment they remember feeling any real sense of joy, hope, or possibility before the entire world betrayed them and abandoned Gaza to the horrors that followed.
This day should serve as a reminder of our collective failure, our impotence, and our weakness, and as motivation to be better and do better instead of leading lives where we’re constantly looking for the next compromise that’ll placate us.
You can be unapologetic about it without sounding so gleeful and oblivious to the fact that countless futures were absolutely eviscerated in the horrors that followed while you cosplay as a revolutionary in the relative safety of the West. You’re watching this from thousands of miles away; they’ve had to live it, so have a little shame and show some decorum.
A haunted house, but it’s just tone-deaf, “well-intentioned” American and Canadian settler “comrades” dancing joyfully to bring awareness to a g3nocid3.
if your praxis doesn’t center Indigenous sovereignty, your politics will reproduce colonialism no matter what you call it. #landback
White settlers on Turtle Island masquerading as “adopted humanitarians” who want to move and settler in Gaza to “rebuild” are operating under the same settler-colonial logic as Trump and Israeli settlers.
The language is softer, but the structure is identical: claim moral innocence, declare belonging, then assert presence on occupied land.

a haunted house — but it’s just white “comrades” with watermelon profile pictures explaining colonialism and sovereignty to the natives whose land they’re occupying.
