Asim Munir has pulled off the biggest move yet by bringing Saudi, Türkiye, Pakistan and Iran on the table directly without intermediaries. This is a massive development. Since the beginning of this conflict I have been saying that it is not US-Iran talks that matter, but regional actors coming to an agreement. This is Iran’s biggest chance now to end this conflict. The ball is now in their court. And they will make a BIG mistake if they pass the ball onto other’s courts as they have been doing up till now.

The Lahore High Court on Monday disposed of a petition seeking the release of Aleema Khan, Dr Uzma Khan and Noreen Niazi, after the Punjab government told the court their preventive detention had been extended by another 30 days.

The three sisters were detained in September under Section 3 of the MPO, 1960, as PTI prepared for its protest march towards Islamabad.
Justice Abher Gul Khan noted that the deputy commissioner, who issued the detention orders, had not been made a respondent, and said the court could not go beyond the scope of the petition.

PTI's KPK Minister Dr. Amjad Ali - from rags to riches in No time
Everyone in Swat knows that Dr. Amjad Ali accumulated substantial wealth after coming to power. Now that the wheel of time has turned, the reckoning appears to have begun.
One can only wish that accountability in our country did not activate only after governments leave office.
According to documents, before the 2013 elections Dr. Amjad Ali had traveled abroad only three times. After assuming power, 49 foreign trips have been revealed roughly one trip every three months on average. This travel history raises serious questions.
Before entering politics, he was an ordinary herbalist/pharmacist in Swat. His travel record includes Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, China, the United States, Turkey, Australia, and the United Kingdom.
Were these frequent trips made to park proceeds from corruption? The reckoning has begun
