Another punch in the gut for workers. Government used private cash to build roads but then lets companies profiteer for decades and even tops up profits when traffic low! This country is a pyramid scheme run by puppets of the rich!

Staff Naas Hospital out on strike over staffing levels. It's shameful fact that government after government have increased levels outsourcing and privatisation in health while frontline staffing levels aren't high enough! We need to put workers in the driving seat of the HSE!

I welcome today’s Council decisions to mobilise €4.9bn for Ukraine through the European Peace Facility. This will reimburse aid and strengthen EU training and capacity building efforts. Our resolve is as strong as ever 🇪🇺🇺🇦

We need a national shut down in Ireland too. It's possible if public sector unions went out and we had people in dozens of private sector workplaces who could put in wage claims or grievances at the same time. It's gonna take work to get to that point. But it needs to be done!

Billionaire Denis O'Brien recently told a telecoms conference that workers in Ireland don't work hard enough. I suppose we should all buy politicians with brown envelopes full of cash to get our hands on telecoms infrastructure? This country needs a rebellion.
