There are elements of christianity in most of western thought including actual marxism. The overemphasis of communism as an end state is more like scholastic monks arguing exactly what heaven is going to be like.

The fundamental error of those successors is their abandonment of Marx's dialectic for methodological individualism, which places the material essence within things as such (monadic objects & subjects) rather than in the RELATIONS AS SUCH between things (the paradoxical cosmos).

For methodological individualists, Tronti & Huning are irreconcilably opposed. For dialecticians, the subjective difference between Tronti & Huning is a somewhat superficial reflection of their objective contexts, yet they are united in essence by a shared Communist phronesis.

"Life's prime want" transforming the mundane into higher levels of motivation is straight up Marxism. Why would you insist no one is "motivated"? This is a form of rentier realism and nihilism. All aspects of labor are tainted by its transformation and commodification (labor power) through exchange. Eventually, socialism overcomes alienation to the point where concrete and abstract labor merge into the pure abstraction of formalities and the making of all the value of work concrete through the negation of exhange. Pure use values, purely universal labor. This could be described as the revolution that concretizes labor without demanding a rigid hierarchy. Similar to a family structure.
