In your kindness, I ask if you will pray for my lifelong friend Andy (on the right), who is in hospice in his last days. Known him since first grade and he has been a true friend, kind and friendly to all. This one is truly hard so please pray for his wife and daughter too.

Feast of St. John Paul II today - the first Pope I saw in person and the most significant of our lifetime. His story is incredibly inspiring… and his wisdom missed. Painting from Castel Gandolfo, summer residence of the popes. @Pontifex

Prayers for the Holy Father....
Dear friends, during some recent medical examinations, the doctors found a small, localized nodule in my lung. It was detected at a very early stage and is well-localized. The doctors believe that it is best to intervene, so, following their advice, I have decided to undergo surgery to remove it. The operation is already scheduled to take place in the coming days. I thank you for your spiritual closeness and entrust myself to your prayers.

For 125 years, Ford Racing has pushed the limits of what’s possible. Built on bold ambition, relentless innovation, and a drive to win, our legacy isn’t just defined by where we’ve been - it’s fueled by where we’re going. From the track to the next frontier of performance, we’re honoring 125 years of racing history by continuing to shape what comes next. #FordRacing125 #AmericasRaceTeam

There's only 2 known photos from 125 years ago today, when Henry Ford upset Alexander Winton in the race that changed auto history forever. No. 4 (Mr. Ford) passes for the lead on lap 6 of 10 and pulling away. Happy 125th anniversary @FordRacing!

Was there that day! @colinbraun was a stud at that speed... true debut of the Ford EcoBoost race engine that would eventually win Le Mans three years later. @FordRacing

Sad news. Great story-teller, but even better guy.
Sorry to pass on the news that was shared with us that our good friend, and state sports giant, Monte Dutton has passed away. He was a friend to all in this business from his days covering Clinton, Laurens County, Furman, NASCAR and more. We will miss him dearly.

The 125th anniversary of @FordRacing is this Saturday, Oct. 10. A lot of people know parts of the story of Henry Ford's historic race that day, but this, to me, is the best telling of the story ... from @sweepstakes1901. This was done 15 years ago. Enjoy! LINK in thread⬇️

Congratulations to the @redbullracing and Red Bull/Ford Powertrains on the first victory with the new engine. It won't be the last. So much hard work has been put into that program. Nice to see the Blue Oval on the top step again with a great team.

A wonderful tribute to a wonderful man. Well done, @Yates_Doug.
My dad was my hero, my mentor, and the most influential person in my life. I was incredibly fortunate to spend most of my racing career working alongside him and learning from him. My journey started at an early age, from washing bolts and cleaning the shop, to becoming an engine builder and ultimately having the honor of leading his vision at Roush Yates Engines. Robert believed in people, gave me opportunities, and helped shape the person and who I am today. I will always be grateful for his trust, his guidance, and the love he shared for our family. The Yates family will forever be grateful for my dad and the incredible legacy he left behind. We love you, we miss you, and we will carry your vision and memory with us every day.

Love this photo of how far racing technology has come in 125 years... winning race cars on both sides. Beautiful shot!
🎨 LIVERY EXPLAINED: @FordRacing was aiming to showcase a “shocking” visual to tell the story of its 125 years in motorsports according to Scott Bartlett, who devised the concept of creating a tribute livery to the brand’s first race-winner. ➡️ sportscar365.com/imsa/iwsc/f… #IMSA

Great day: @FordRacing 100th Anniversary event at Greenfield Village in Dearborn. Edsel Ford (r) racing Sweepstakes replica in the streets of the Village against the great-grandson of Alexander Winton in an actual Winton race car with @JohnForce_FC. Ford for the win (again)!.

America needs people who know how to build things, fix things and make things work. Electricians. Technicians. Welders. Plumbers. Construction workers. Manufacturing experts. These careers matter. The people who do them matter. And America’s future depends on them. America is currently facing a skilled trades crisis: an estimated 2.1 million positions could go unfilled by 2030. Meanwhile, many young adults are unaware of how to pursue these careers. The issue isn’t a lack of demand or opportunity. It’s making sure the next generation knows where those opportunities are and how to get started. That’s why @Ford is proud to be a founding partner in a new @AdCouncil effort with Dycom, The @HomeDepot and the @WallaceFdn to help more young people understand the opportunities available in the trades. There are incredible careers available for people who want to work with their hands, solve real problems and build things that matter. We need these skills to build the future of America. And we need to do a much better job showing young people what’s possible. That’s my hope for this new campaign… to make these careers easier to see and easier to pursue. Derrick Feldman, Managing Director at Ad Council Research Institute, wrote more about the launch of this campaign today on From the Road: fromtheroad.ford.com/us/en/a… #EssentialEconomy #FordAccelerate #Accelerate2026 #SkilledTrades
