FINAL:
Red River - 2
Pierre - 0
We claim both ends of the doubleheader, making us 6-2 in our last 8 games!
@JRock_16_ provided one of our runs on a solo shot to LF, his first dinger of the year.
@clwhitley01 brought the other through savvy baserunning.
#PilotsNation, we apologize for the late notice, but tonight and tomorrow's games have been postponed.
Tweet didn't upload earlier for us for some reason 😕
We'll try to provide more information over the next few days. Thank you.
Expedition League Rules:
No. 1 - Two teams can't have a Home Run Derby unless the other two also have one the same day.
Dems da rules. Good thing we're abiding.
We're all tied up at 9 as your Trappers and @NIRaginRoosters head to a home-run derby to decide the winner of Game 2!
FINAL:
Souris Valley takes the Home Run Derby 2-1.
Score shows SabreDogs - 6, Pilots - 5
Another valiant effort, but we come up just short.
BECK'S. BARRELS.
@IsaacBecker944 goes YARD to deeeeeeep LF to tie things up in Minot.
Red River - 5
Souris Valley - 5
We take on the SabreDogs once again tomorrow evening (6:35 p.m. C.T.)
Tomorrow's game will be televised here: bek.tv/watch-now
It may also be available on the SabreDog YouTube channel, but we are not certain of that at this time.
FINAL:
Souris Valley - 7
Red River - 4
Not the result we were looking for 🙁
That said, a bunch of our guys had great performances...
@clwhitley01 was outstanding on the mound - 7.0 IP, 9 H, 0 BB, 4 ER.
Four of our guys (@JackWalton2020, @JRock_16_, @joshuapss and Carter Paine) notched two hits. Joey Hayden reached base twice (1 H, 1 BB).
Micah Barkenhagen stayed hot (.462 AVG, 4 XBH, 6 RBI last 3 games).
End 8th:
@kobe_fred2 navigates a couple of baserunners to throw a clean inning.
He has an ERA of 0.93 in his last five appearances (9.2 IP) 💪🤑 nicely done Kobe!
Score remains 7-4 with the 9th on deck.
Roses are red, violets are blue.
Micah Barkenhagen loves bases waaaaaayyyy more than you do.
He grabs three of 'em on this deep drive to right center, his 2nd triple and 8th XBH overall this season.
Middle 8th:
A Micah Barkenhagen triple + Carter Paine double = 2 more runs for the Pilots
Souris Valley - 7
Red River - 4
End 7th:
@clwhitley01 shows off the hops on a line drive back up the middle, recording out No. 3
Eighth inning upcoming. 7-2 SV your score
